Fishguts182
I know I've got the TDKR and Avengers threads going but theres too many of these awesome superhero movies coming out. And I can't hold myself back from watching these leaked trailers. They get me even more excited. I'm so pumped for this spiderman reboot. It seems like this spiderman movie is gonna be the Batman Begins of the spiderman movies. http://superheroshows.blogspot.com/2011/07/watch-leaked-amazing-spider-man-trailer.html
tReerAT
meh they didn't need to retread the whole origin thing imo.
juice182
awesome! i love how they are staying so true to the comics (peters parents leaving, gwen stacy, ect). thanks for posting this.
lmnop
i think it looks awesome but i hope they dont spend a ton of time with the origin of him because a lot of us know at least somewhat everything that happened before he became spiderman
juice182
i may be bias but i liked this more than the dark knight rises teaser.
MSandt
1:38 - Mirror's Edge: The Game Anyways, couldn't really care less about another origin story. Looking forward to an R-rated Spider-Man movie with someone doing to Carnage what Heath Ledger did to Joker.

MSandt
In the long run they almost certainly will. One can always hope. Rather that than another high school teen drama.
theedge00
Eh, too soon for a reboot. They probably did it because Emma Stone is now popular or whatever. Oh and of course the high school setting... that'll get the tweens to the theatre. I REALLY don't know what this one could add to Spider Man (2002) story. And I just don't like Andrew Garfields face for Peter... Tobey Maguire will always be the perfect Peter Parker/Spidey!!!!!!!!!!

juice182
tobey was far from perfect.
theedge00
Nah man, they're rebooting it because the franchise is still relatively fresh... they can make more money. Spider Man 3 grossed almost 1 billion dollars!! The studio didn't care that the movie sucked or that the fans were disappointed. Tobey was perfect for the role imo. slapsean
they're rebooting it so they can wrap it into the other marvel movies out/coming out.
Cheerios4u98
they're rebooting it so they can wrap it into the other marvel movies out/coming out. Not true (I think). Sony own the rights to the Spider-man movies, so I don't think they're going to be able to tie it in with everything else. Well, I guess they could actually, but it just won't be able to tie into The Avengers.
ethan-
Doesn't look as good as the first Raimi film, tbh.
Cole
From what I've seen, I think I'll like this reboot more than any of the first three. Like juice said, more true to the comics.
Soapy
I feel like Andrew Garfield is more suited to play Harry Osborn than Peter Parker
