Scott.
Legend - it's ok. Nothing amazing but I had to pause it a few times which ruined the flow. Tom hardy is exceptional though as usual. Emily Browning is very pretty too. 6.5/
Jane
The Danish Girl. 7/10 Must have been the first time ever that I found the real story to be even crazier than the story in the movie. Was okay, did not blow me away, but I've seen worse.
Scott.
Cop Car - two kids steal a cop car and the sheriff (Kevin bacon) tracks them down because theirs something dodgy in the boot. Decent little film. Enjoyed it. 7/

boxelder
used cars. i'm a big BTTF fan so i said why not, i've never seen it. pretty damn funny all the way through, though it seems like it never can figure out what to focus on plot-wise. still, pretty good for your average comedy. ruaraidhlando45
I saw The Big Short last night, really really enjoyed it. Fascinating and well done to the people who spotted it before it was gonna happen, and had the baws to put all their money on the line. 7.5/

Cheerios4u98
Just bought the Back to the Future Trilogy and the Rocky Collection on Blu-ray. With the Complete Star Wars Saga I got the other week I now have 15 new movies to watch. Well, I've seen them all before, but still.
Cheerios4u98
Just went to Best Buy and they were selling the Lord of the Rings Trilogy for $12, and right next to it was the Extended Edition Trilogy for $100. Holy fuck. Is the 2-3 hours of extra footage really worth an 800% price increase?! I mean, don't get me wrong, the extended versions are awesome, but $12 vs $100 is insane. _Kyle_
^ I think they have a huge amount of special features. like 15 blu rays or something. I dunno, how much of that Tolkien bullshit do you need?
_Kyle_
(1971) Let's Scare Jessica To Death I really liked it for what it was. Spooky, low budget, and a great soundtrack. Jessica is basically insane, but can't figure out if the whole town is fucking with her. B-
boxelder
trainwreck. i liked it okay. was standard rom-com fare to me. thought all the performances were great, but seriously overlong and frankly could've been better. B- groundhog day. i know, i know. i don't see many movies and one of my goals this year is to watch those famed movies i've neglected somehow. and of course i liked this movie. a great balance of being hilarious and philosophical. Cheerios4u98
Blue Mountain State: The Rise of Thadland It was funny, but not great. I definitely enjoyed it, and I did laugh, but it was not nearly as good as the TV show. Glad I saw it, but I can't see myself watching it again any time soon unless I decide to watch the whole series again. Which is likely someday. C+ maybe. MSandt
Jennifer's Body. Cool movie; there were some problems with the pacing in the middle but the acting was good and it was pretty well written. Also, cool cameo at the end. It was still pretty funny honestly. I definitely laughed out loud multiple times. And it's better than nothing. They say depending on how well the movie does they might bring the show back. I would love to get the show back!
ruaraidhlando45
Rewatched The Exorcist for the first time in a long time last week. Superb film, has stood the test of time imo. Still found it utterly disturbing - perhaps not as much as when my Dad made me watch it as an 8 year old boy, but still completely terrifying. 8.5/10 an absolute classic. Scott.
Ant man - not a huge marvel fan but I quite enjoyed this, I thought it would be nonsense but it was good. Well worth a watch. 7/10 In the heart of the sea - enjoyed this too. I like that Tom Holland, he's a good little actor, he's the new Spider-Man. Another film worth a watch. 7/10 The Martian - pretty long this but I did enjoy it. Wasn't a fan of the jokes, don't know why they persisted with that. Was a bit cringe. 7/
