theedge00
Florida Project - Really good! The kids were so funny and natural. Willem Dafoe was perfect for this role too. The mom was so white trash goddamn. 8/
NotNow
Watched Three Billboards on the plane to this interview and had no expectations other than that it won the golden globe. Favorite movie of the year.
Nasa
Phantom Thread (2017). It was okay...not really my type of movie at all. B
JarJarBlinks
The Cloverfield Paradox solid B. Really don’t understand the hate it’s getting. One particularly bad/cringey scene and fairy cliche, but a good sci-fi thriller with interesting concepts.

Even if it's leaning on Rom-Com, I love it. Will Farrell's final great moment. Nah dude, Will Farrell was great in Lego Movie too.
theedge00
The Shape of Water - It was okay, entertaining. Story wise not pretty straight forward, not much going on. Highly overrated by the critics. 7/

I just haven't been into anything he's done for years now and he was my absolute favorite in the 2000s... Anchorman, SNL, Old School, Talledega Nights, Wedding Crashers, East Bound and Down, etc

Don’t have a top 10 unless I think about it but Starship Troopers is my favorite movie of all time. “C’mon you apes, you wanna live forever?!”

But I do agree that peak Will Farrell is long past his prime, it seems.

I really don't enjoy Wes Anderson films that much, Life Aquatic being the exception. But man, did I love Mr. Fox. If all he ever did was stop motion films, I'd be content. Isle of the Dogs should be amazing.

Get Hard was so bad I couldn't believe it was Will Farrell. Either he just cans it in lazily now or he's truly lost it. The Other Guys is actually a recent-ish one that was great though. Funny, I don't really enjoy Wes Anderson or Christopher Nolan.

Going to watch. @Nasa I've actually never seen this episode, will check it. As for me, not really stuff no one's not seen.. Burn After Reading is one on Netflix now I always recommend as a favorite can watch over and over again. The Oceans are on there too now that are good fun. Jan Backing Track
Dallas Buyer's Club. Pretty hard to watch as I don't like hard drugs and MM had to be like 140 pounds. Well done though. Deserving of its awards.
