Ghent 18578
Anyone here ever get into classic musicals, like from the 1950s? I've been on a deep dive lately into Gene Kelly, Sinatra, Grace Kelly, Debbie Reynolds films. Started with Singin' in the Rain and I've found myself really enjoying them. I've ignored films like that my entire life so it's all fresh to me

twentytwenty 1324
The latest movie I watched was probably the latest Star Trek movie. It was great though

Nasa 3608
Pineapple Express, was a good time. Got a bit excessive with the violence in the second half, though.

The cinematography for the opening 20 mins is out of this world
JarJarBlinks 3728
Watched Inception a couple of days ago, can anyone explain to me why it is so celebrated? Great cast, great director but I thought the plot was terribly formulaic and just tried to slam a whole bunch of "twists" to make it seem clever.

I think the whole "dream in a dream in a dream in a dream" thing seemed magic to some people and the whole ambiguity at the end. I never got why people found it complex though. The dreams three layers, not exactly difficult to grasp.
