n i k u
and i stand by whatever i said. not sure what this is referring to but casey says that after all my posts. Huh? I rarely insult you. I disagreed with your post, provided a counterargument, and received nothing in response haha. It is Ghent's trademark. I like Ghent, but its so true that he always disappears from debates. Except when its with Niku. usually he says something and then deletes it. but yes, i agree. you actually ask him a question that he knows he absolutely wrong about or call him out, and you won't hear any rebuttal. he just continues with me cause drama gives him a hard on that he later strokes at night and cums on her face for all of us. dd182
I still get mad thinking about how they talked about naming the tour One way ticket to boneville and decided the better name would be "AT&T presents...." Lol. Which tour are you talking bout? Wasn't the 2009 tour gonna be called "One way ticket to boneville"? Then again that tour was being sponsored by T-Mobile. Action
blink is only a disappointment to those who are stuck in the past. sure i wish the guitar parts were catchy like before but nothing beats hoppus barker and delonge together That's kind of part of the issue though. Those 3 aren't always together on Neighborhoods. Exactly. The record to me sounds like 3 people battling each other. The drums are spastic and over the top.. the drum tones are pussy compared to passed blink records. I love Hearts All Gone... which had nothing to do with Tom... Tom just straight up sucks now. His voice is weird but to me that's not the whole problem. The issue lays in his writing. He writes the same melodies over and over which would be alright if they were good but they aren't. His hooks are weak and his lyrics make no sense and aren't easily relatable... Two thinks that made blink well... blink... Part of being a good songwriter is writing good lyrics and having *something* hooky or memorable about the song... doesn't need to be a top 40 pop hook but I should have been able to have some great melodies to hum in my head like I do with every other blink song. nope... Tom Delonge has lost his touch. Travis I feel did his best with what he was given... I'm sure he knew the songs weren't their best so he tried to spice them up with his drum parts... when he actually just made them weaker... but at least there's some interesting fills to go "ooo look at that Travis is such a good drummer!" Oh god one of these fucking Blink fans. The "HEARTS ALL GONE IS AWESOME MANNN!!!!!!" type of fans. You can fuck off for all I care. The main reason Neighborhoods was successful was mostly because of Tom. I can honestly tell you the only song I really like by Mark is Hearts All Gone. Mark is absolutely forgettable on this album. If this is how Mark is gonna work for now on, maybe he should just stick to the shadows and let Tom do it all solo with Mark keeping the sound more "blink". Mark honestly does NOTHING for me on this album. The drumming and Tom are what saved it. If you disagree then you need to go re listen to the album and come back to me. dildo69er
mark may not have been singing on the songs but im sure he had quite a bit of involvement in shaping most of them.

Man, you shouldn't think like this! Anybody here knows how far each member contributed to this album. Even though we all know the style of each one. The greatness around Blink 182 is what these three guys can do "together". Unfortunately I must agree with someone here who said that their catchy riffs weren't the best ones in this album. There're only five good songs (in my opinion) in Neighborhoods: Wishing Well, MH 04.18.2011, Hearts all Gone, Fighting the Gravity and Up all Night. Mau5
I hate how some of the songs on this album sound like they could be directly put on a +44 album. The songs themselves are amazing, but they aren't blink in my opinion, where I feel that none of the songs from any of the other blink albums could be on a +44 album. Lol so many people will agree with me. The main contributions on this album from Mark were behind the scenes. Apart from "Hearts All Gone" Mark put 2 +44 songs on the album MH/Fighting the Gravity and helped keep the rest of the album Blink sounding/keeping Tom in check. Tom's songs seem much more like classic Blink "Wishing Well" "Natives" "After Midnight" "This Is Home" then Marks +44 rejects MH/Fighting the Gravity. It's like what I am saying is something new, everyone agreed that Tom was the surprising one on this album and Mark seemed to be underwhelming at best. With how much Mark goes out of his way to hype up Blink and promote it I sort of expect more from him on the album then what he gave us. Oh and I forgot to ask, are you mad bro? Tyler☮
ah man..this guy again. mark was just as present in this album as he was on untitled. he played a part in every song UNLIKE tom (and im a fan of tom). in every song, mark has some kind of part. Harmonies in GOTDF, chorus in Natives, verse and harmonies in Up All Night, After Midnight chorus, awesome bass intro and ahhs in Snake Charmer, him and Travis obviously did all the work on HAG+Interlude, I guarantee you that Tom didn't play bass on Wishing Well, Kaleidoscope verse, This Is Home bassline and solo, MH is yet again all Mark and Travis, Love Is Dangerous has the backing verse vocals and the trade off chorus vocals, FTG is yet again ONLY Mark and Travis and then Even If She Falls has Mark on bass..I'm guessing. What did Tom do on HAG, MH or FTG? nothing.

Out of the 14 songs on the album Tom sang the most on 11. I hardly even noticed Mark was there on the album. Most people skip Fighting the Gravity anyways so he even seems there less. With all the talking Mark does and the time he invests in Blink I think he could of done A LOT more then what he gave us. I was surprised by how well Tom did on the record and underwhelmed by Mark. I was really expecting Mark to shine. All I am trying to say.
Tyler☮
mark sang on kaleidoscope too. just because tom sings more, doesn't mean he has more of a presence. do you understand how important guitars are in a song? and what about bass? probably not. mark does much more on this album than tom instrumentally, and whether you acknowledge it or not, the instruments can make or break a song. also, saying most people skip FTG is complete guess, you'd have no way in knowing that.
