ruaraidhlando45
I'm a big fan of Todd's, the execution of Brock's mum was just ruthless.
Trainwreck
From The CDC. What part of this sounds like something anyone would willingly put themselves through? source: http://www.bt.cdc.gov/agent/ricin/facts.asp Signs and symptoms of ricin exposure The major symptoms of ricin poisoning depend on the route of exposure and the dose received, though many organs may be affected in severe cases. Initial symptoms of ricin poisoning by inhalation may occur as early as 4- 8 hours and as late as 24 hours after exposure. Following ingestion of ricin, initial symptoms typically occur in less than 10 hours. Inhalation: Within a few hours of inhaling significant amounts of ricin, the likely symptoms would be respiratory distress (difficulty breathing), fever, cough, nausea, and tightness in the chest. Heavy sweating may follow as well as fluid building up in the lungs (pulmonary edema). This would make breathing even more difficult, and the skin might turn blue. Excess fluid in the lungs would be diagnosed by x-ray or by listening to the chest with a stethoscope. Finally, low blood pressure and respiratory failure may occur, leading to death. In cases of known exposure to ricin, people having respiratory symptoms should seek medical care. Ingestion: If someone swallows a significant amount of ricin, he or she would likely develop vomiting and diarrhea that may become bloody. Severe dehydration may be the result, followed by low blood pressure. Other signs or symptoms may include seizures, and blood in the urine. Within several days, the person’s liver, spleen, and kidneys might stop working, and the person could die. Skin and eye exposure: Ricin is unlikely to be absorbed through normal skin. Contact with ricin powders or products may cause redness and pain of the skin and the eyes. However, if you touch ricin that is on your skin and then eat food with your hands or put your hands in your mouth, you may ingest some. Death from ricin poisoning could take place within 36 to 72 hours of exposure, depending on the route of exposure (inhalation, ingestion, or injection) and the dose received. Majestic McMoose
Why would Walt kill himself with ricin? Isn't that a horrible death? If he shoots himself in the head then whoever finds his body will know that he chose "the cowards way out". Walt is too proud to be known as the man who had no way out in the end and off'd himself. If they all know he's dying of cancer, he can take a high dose of ricin and be caught, then "die of cancer". That way he won't have to live in custody waiting for his death. Although Walt was ready to off himself with a gun in the very first episode..........Yeah, I know, he's not the same person and all that. Doctors are supposed to know the difference between dying of cancer and dying of poisoning.
Majestic McMoose
When the Ricin is introduced Walt says that it can't be traced unless they know what to look for. When brock was poisoned (lilly of the valley not technically ricin) they didnt know until Jesse pointed them in the right direction. So if a man who is bound to drop dead of cancer soon...well, drops dead, then are they really going to be suspecting anything out of the ordinary? Edit: Anyone know where I can watch the whole episode of the breaking bad day on conan? not just clips on the youtube.Edit 2: Found it if anyone wants a link
Ari
With Breaking bad being as pretty realistic as it is I wouldn't be too bummed if it ended in this epic gunfight where Walt kills everyone, convinces his wife and kids to take the money, makes his old friends beg for forgiveness as he laughs, poisons Lydia and then... wakes up in his car shaking too weak to do anything at this point but dream of how he'd like it to end. Majestic McMoose
As much as I think BrBa fans online over-analyse I thought this was creepy, yet a brilliant move by the show (if it was intentional) A quote from Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium http://www.reddit.com/r/breakingbad/comments/1n08ai/possible_spoilers_this_is_a_quote_from_mr/

I am going to watch it and if I can get something for a reasonable price I might bid.
Ghent
why hasn't anyone bid on any of that stuff?
High Value Man
why hasn't anyone bid on any of that stuff? Because the auction doesn't start until after the last episode airs. I have to say that it is pretty pathetic that the auction is for pure profit and not charity. Breaking Bad has made them truckloads of cash and now they trying to squeeze every last penny out of the show with this stuff.

High Value Man
Oh bloody hell, watch out, Oliver's about to moan about rich people...again. Only if challenged. If someone doesn't think that billionaires squeezing $2 mil out of breaking bad props isn't greed...........well........good luck with that. I love you Oliver, I even share the same birthday as your girlfriend. PLEASE don't make me avoid this thread too
