Beethoven
On that note. Without too much contemplating.. Top Couch Multiplayer: all-time personal picks 1. Super Smash - overall, minute per minute, this was the best local social multiplayer game all-time. 64 for me, I know ppl love the sequels, but I didn't own a Gamecube nor did anyone outside this one odd neighbor. Smash was endless fun. Link, Samus, DK suicide, Captain Falcon ftw. 2. COD Black Ops: Zombies - I'd like to try to be more hip than this, but I can't deny how many friggin hours we all put in on Kino Der Toten killing zombies and bragging in the lunch room who had gotten the highest wave. Infinitely addicting. Can't deny this one despite the douchey fanbase. 3. Halo: I'm not even a Halo guy, but whether it be co-op or vs, the game and story kicked ass. 4. Mario Kart: I mean, classic. 5. THPS: Pretty straight forward. Horse was the shit. 6. NBA 2K: before they got shitty and money hungry. 7. DK64: Kind of a hidden gem. First game I got that came with the system. Had the colored controllers and all that shit. 8. Goldeneye: Another, classic. 9. Battlefront/Jedi Outkast Couldn't decide, but SW makes for damn good games. 10. Mario Tennis: Shit was fun HM: A Way Out (doesn't touch the others but a fun lil new one), Gauntlet Dark Legacy, Jedi Power Battles, Rogue Squadron, Madden, Wii sports, Tekken, TMNT co op game, some batman co op game I can't remember, whatever soccer/football games, Hunter the Reckoning, LOTR ROTK game

Beethoven
I love the group chat. We don't have the same games though. If they come out with a 3 person + game out there that'd be pretty fun though.

Drifted a bit far from what makes Resident Evil what it is, but it made for a great two-player experience imo RE5 was actually great, loved it. RE6 was terrible though. I only played like an hour of RE6 and even just that wasn't fun. I'll give it another shot eventually.

Interesting, I always found people good with Waluigi and ghost or whatever were the hardest to beat. Shy guy? I always used Mario so I'm a basic bitch. That one was just a load of fun. Outlast was a trend for a bit always enjoyed as well. Never done RE Condemned: Criminal Origins was great, as was Amnesia. 14 hours ago, Scotts Engineer said: On that note. Without too much contemplating.. Cheerios4u98
I played so much Mario Party with my friends and roommates my least year at college. The original N64 ones. That was probably the last time I sat down in person with a group and played games together. We had so much fun with those games, I was so glad I decided to bring the N64 to school that year on a whim haha

We played so much mario kart, tennis, and golf. Not capping, the people down the hall from us, went on to become the biggest gaming streamers of all time (not pewdiepie). I'm not into that, but I remember them staying in from class and gaming every day. Then I see them on a bud light commercial on ESPN all these years later. Fucking A, never saw it coming. Linked up a few times for some Kart. 1

That shit was my identity in my college days Yeah, there's something about the older games where it's a bit more competitive, or easier to get into from that sense. New games are so elaborate with their visuals and concepts and everything, back then it was simple, almost like a work out. Response times were better on old games too, no input lag whatsoever unless you were Jimmy with the broken joystick from mashing it too hard in the Mario Party mini games. Tennis and Smash I think I put the most hours in with friends for competing. They have them at some hipster arcarde bars now, but it's not the same.
