High Value Man
"We got a pilot of this show called Breaking Bad" but I don't think we should air it because people don't want to watch a new show. They want to watch existing shows. That is about what Mark's stupid logic comes to.
bennett
the worst thing is that mark feels so strongly about this ever since blink got back together. he literally had it permanently stuck in his head that this is how people feel and thats it. i mean was he sleeping during the party song? people went nuts for a song they haven't even acknowledged it (as in played the song live before the breakup) since forever. it's not like that was a fluke, it would happen with so many other songs

M!ke
Minus LID and FTG I still love neighborhoods. There was a lot of pressure and they pretty much had to release a safe record. Those two songs are fantastic!
M!ke
Because of the length of this great little EP it would make a great addendum to an album. Initially when I heard about it, I thought maybe it would fit alongside self titled because of the fact they all worked on it together. But the reality is that it has a lot in common with Neighborhoods sound wise despite the fact they recorded it differently. So I'm thinking I'll burn a cd with Neighborhoods and Dogs Eating Dogs together. However, I'm not sure if I want to straight up just add the songs after Even if She Falls or if I want to integrate the songs into Neighborhoods, and try to do so in a way that still holds a great flow. I do think that regardless the thing should end with Pretty Little Girl as that makes a better closer than Even If She Falls. Working out a possible tracklist now. Obviously if you don't give a shit about this idea, then carry on, but if you've got insight as to what would sound great from DED following and preceding certain songs on Neighborhoods, feel free to help me out. MassKirbycide
I still think LID is the best closer, even if you do add DED on. My track order for Neighborhoods was always GhostNativesUANAMSnake CharmerHAG InterludeHAGWishing WellKaleidoscope Even if She FallsFTGThis is HomeMHLID I think you should start with that as the base and integrate from there. Ghent
Honesty, I don't think DED is much different than Neighborhoods at all. That's not to say it isn't better, because as a whole, it definitely is. But the actual sound and style is pretty much the same.
Tyler☮
It's defitely the same style of sound, but it's done so much better. It's more cohesive.
High Value Man
Oliver, I'm sorry, but you have the worst analogies ever haha. Perhaps, but it is a fact that your logic (and Mark's) is a self fullfilling prophecy. What if Mark had your mentality after Enema of the State? Ask yourself that question and you will see what I mean.
Fishguts182
Also, I disagree with this. I think the most sincere song Tom has ever written would be Rite of Spring. It was right in the middle of AVA and had almost no similarity to any of AVA's sound, which only adds to the fact that I believe he wrote that song for himself. Good point I forgot about that song

Tyler☮
I'm not disagreeing with you, Oliver. I wish they'd play more obscure songs, too. Not even obscure songs, just non singles. They definitely made a step in the right direction with the acoustic songs on the last tour.

Majestic McMoose
Their not the only band that relies on greatest hits when it comes to live shows...Sad fact is LOTS of bands do this. Doesn't make it right. On a flip side of everyone saying not to play just greatest hits or singles, which i completely agree with best due to mass overplay im not a big fan of ATST, rock show or first date (not in a hipster "oh god that songs so mainstream" just that ive heard it so much by people using that as a point of reference that im sick of them). Ive never seen blink live, i had tickets to the july 26th(i think) show at brixton (even though we paid for the 25th and was fucked over cos it was cancelled) and didnt get to see them. Id love to see them live, even if it was the hits just because it'd be them. Id consider myself a pretty big fan. What my terrible attempt at a point was is that even the more dedicated fanbase can be ok with just old singles and GHs live because its still something
bojangles
I feel like Pretty little Girl is a perfect song to make a funny video too. It's not sad and Its kind of serious but its also fun at the same time but i doubt that will happen. I don't see them making a funny video anytime soon. Roux
im sorry i missed all of this - i guess i outgrew blink. But 'Pretty Little Girl' is fucking amazing - one of the best they have done, love the Yelawolf part too. What a surprise!
lowson
I would like to know the breakdown of sales between iTunes and blink-182.com. I wonder if the modlife sales contribute to chart position. And what chart is it eligible for? Is Billboard 200 for albums only?
theedge00
Im starting to think that Jerry Finn was THE creative force behind ST
