M!ke
Stomping the Phantom Brake Pedal to me sounds like self awareness, they know not only that this EP is complete shit, but it is also what will indefinitely put AVA on hold, they've hit the brakes on the band. radioactive tomdog
To be honest, I'm sure Tom only recorded a few synths and of course his vocals on Diary, and Ilan did the rest. Maybe I'm wrong, but I can't even see Matt or David recording anything for this. what does this have to do with anything? it is an AVA release and was made by people in the band. Dylan
This release sounds no different than any other ava release lol
dildo69er
i dislike ava but that statement is just stupid
blink--182
this whole release is a b-side

Calinho
The E.P is clearly just Ilan messing about with the Love movie score and the Love songs, with the exception of Tom adding vocals to one of the score tracks. I don't think it should have been released, it's nothing more than a nice extra for the fans and a glimpse of what Ilan might bring to any future recordings. I think AVA are going on a break though. Tom will be worn down and they've churned out so much stuff in a short space of time it's hard to see the next record not sounding the same unless they take a break. Ilan will bring something new to the table and I'm looking forward to some new stuff in 2-3 years time.
quiksilver199
Wow, the remixes were straight up garbage. The only thing tolerable was "Diary"
MSandt
I think Tom killed Critter. Yeah, so that he could use the title.
asthenia15
well toms gone back to ava postings the last couple days.
stfnkrgr
you guys have no idea of ilan rubin.just go listen to his solo project the new regime. the guy is a freakin genius. if this ep was only him then it would have been the best work ava has ever done. the problem here really is that ava is just garbage mostly
Pussay Patrol
I love the first 3 tracks! Not the kinda thing you can just put on repeat but cool nonetheless. The remixes are weird as. Could only listen to Epic Holiday and Saturday Love all the way through, some cool stuff going on in them but still not very good.
blinkplanet
The remixes don't sound good to me, I feel bored by listening to them... But the rest is kinda cool, because it's different. Diary is a great song.
Brae.
I actually really dig all of AvA albums. But this is just too far gone for me to understand. Diary was cool. Some of the remixes are decent.
Bulkzero
These instrumentals sound like something a high school kid makes on Garageband in his part time. and who likes music THIS repetitive? It sounds like they just record a loop and then copy and paste.
xxbrankxx
Reel 6 sounded like it would belong on Nine Inch Nails' Ghosts I-IV album.
moo182
This is the only AVA release i've really enjoyed. The first EP, that is. I like all the instrumental songs.
MSandt
Uh, this thing costs 9 €uros? I checked on iTunes hoping to see it at 3€ or something but they're charging an LP price for this thing it seems. It's three new "songs" and a bunch of irrelevant remixes! blink--182
i listened to the remixes again at work. i enjoyed it. it's not worth an own release but there are some cool parts
M!ke
I actually really like the Epic Holiday remix, it feels very Postal Service-y, and I really dig it for that.
