We're almost at the end of Californication and I need something to start immediately or else we'll be forced to actually talk to each other in the evenings... ? Ideally we'd like something funny and the episodes are only like 30 minutes apiece. She tends to get bored easy when episodes drag on. Thanks muchly. Quite enjoyed Wasted on e4. Thought it was pretty funny.

But yeah, I did expect it to be different, but at the same time, the way she progresses is clunky and rarely actually explained. Why would some one do these things out of nowhere?? Cheerios4u98
I'm enjoying Luke Cage so far, but I'm not binge-watching it like I did with Daredevil or Jessica Jones. I really like it so far. It weirdly makes me miss living downtown in the middle of a big city for some reason.
Kay
I finally finished Jessica Jones, and then I started Stranger Things... sunday. watched 2 episodes, monday watched 4 and then finished it tuesday. holy damn that was better than I expected. Now I have no idea what to start. I liked Jessica Jones although it was slow in places, but I don't remotely care about Luke Cage's character so IDK whether to start that or not. Tempted to start season 2 of Scream (which is just awful, btw, if anyone hasn't seen it) just because we're coming up to halloween.
Patient #48273
I haven't started Luke Cage yet for the same reason, but I've heard a bunch of people say that it's really good, so I'll probably give it a try soon.
_Kyle_
I'm still trying to get through ST and it's a slog to be honest. It's just so.....predictable? Like if you haven't seen this stuff before than I envy you. Homage to homage to homage with no new twists.

It isn't bad ... takes a few episodes to warm up and even then a little slow at times. It still wasn't a bad show. I never bothered with Jessica Jones so I don't know how it compares to that but I enjoyed Daredevil more than Luke Cage but Cage is still a decent show. Reminds me of the Blacksplotation films they used to have, it's a little like BET made a superhero show but without the camp.
Melty Mark
I watched up to episode 6 of Stranger Things and then I went to my friend's house where they were watching the finale, so I just watched it.

I sort of steered into the feel of it rather than looking at it expecting a new story or twist, just enjoyed it for what it was... a total friggin' 80s trip with a dope ass theme. 49 minutes ago, Speedo said: It isn't bad ... takes a few episodes to warm up and even then a little slow at times. Jessica Jones was really good but slow in bits, it's worth watching just for Killgrave, David Tennant does an amazing job. Everyones hyped Luke Cage up to the guts so I'll probably give it a go at some point, can't say I'm particularly interested though. I didn't get on with daredevil either. Speedo
I hated Barb, a lot. I always hated the Downie Wonder kid with the hat.

Cheerios4u98
Two eps from finishing Luke Cage and I'm surprised to say I think I like this show better than both Jessica Jones and Daredevil. I love it.

Cheerios4u98
Finished Luke Cage last night. Ugh I want more. That ending. I'm honestly way more excited for future seasons of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage, than I am about The Defenders.
Buddy Holly
finished Luke Cage and I was very underwhelmed. Way too different from the dark and gritty Daredevil and Jessica Jones. The characters felt like caricatures. Also, it made me pissed me off how "oh, well.." people were when someone tried to kill them.
