Ya i didnt mind it. Even a couple songs on SBM are already but in general, feel like after UH it was just a decline for them

Yes that’s A-okay it’s more he did this whole segment on it. Just say that, I’m being cranky I guess but ffs just feels so melodramatic about doing something for yourself.

Just finished Derycks book and it’s a good read. Crazy to see how his personal and professional life really fell off a cliff all at once. Also had no idea how bad it got between him and Steveo. Worth the read if you’re a fan of the band.

Saw them here last week on their final run of shows in Canada. 

They played Noots, which was fucking awesome. 

When I saw them live in 2013, it honestly looked like Deryck was a ticking time bomb. He looked awful. 

Tough to see a childhood band finally pack it in, but it was time, and it was so nice seeing Deryck happy and healthy playing these shows compared to where he was. 

Wish these guys nothing but the best in the future.

I still can't believe this is their last show. ( they are supposed to perform again on the Canadian Juno Awards in a few months). They sound great and aren't even that old. It doesn't make sense to me.

 

btw, their old drummer Stevo has a great youtube channel where he talks about Sum41
