If they don't, it will more than likely be a few dates max in the UK next year. In any case, it could be their last European tour for all we know so I better make sure I book the time off work and travel to see them somewhere. Quote

Not really, this would easily fit on My Shame Is True - the only thing that sounds like new blink is the whoas at the end but Alk3 have had whoas for years. the lead parts are no different to the lead parts on other alk3 records (Warhol, for example). What is different is the guitar sound for the main part, kind've odd for them. I like the song, I don't necessarily love it but it doesn't sound like some weird blink alk3 hybrid, it just sounds like alkaline trio - thank christ for that. Confirms for me that Matts input is very minimal in the blink camp. I'm so excited for the new record though, knowing there's going to be a new alk3 record makes me way less mad at Matt about the current blink situation. 3 Quote

I knew it would have been something along the lines of My Shame Is True. I'm looking forward to hearing Dan's songs on this record cause he's the real soul in the band. (I think Matt has completely given up on blink on the artistic level but let's not talk about that for once.) 3 Quote

Chorus is a bit weak and it's obviously not going to tear up the charts (vastly different intentions than Blink), but it sounds like Alkaline Trio and it sounds natural. Definitely had no clue they had completed a new album, but that makes me even more excited to see them Aug 24, hoping I get to hear a few new ones live before it releases on the 31st. 2 Quote

After the first listen I would say that it’s not a super hit, but it’s great to hear Alkaline Trio again, and it’s great to hear Matt Skiba sound like Matt Skiba again 2 Quote
