Emil Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Yeah, it's really hard to pick the "definitive Trio songs" since there are so many good songs that are all on the equal level of popularity. That's one thing I've always liked, they always change the set list so odds are you could have seen them play your favourite track at least once the last couple of years if you exkluce the recent album tours where they've played everything. raw_sounds Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 I love Ak3, ive been listening a lot to their acoustic stuff, amazing work Quote

Nice one, Matt sings so well in that one and Dan's harmonies is spot on as always. They are really ace at doing harmonies, Dan harmonies with Matt so well and Derek is just awesome everywhere, funny though that Matt barely does harmonies and Derek does most of them. By the way has anyone seen this before? Found it years ago but forgot about it, they had so much energy back when. Quote
Ghost Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Definitely, I've seen that video before. Wasn't it released with the Goddamnit reedition? I should chek the DVD. Oh, it would be great to show that video to all the Tombots who said he was trying to dress and look like Tom when he filled in for blink a year ago... Quote
Ghost Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 Raspy-fucked-up-voice-Skiba. I like the way they arranged this song for this version. 1 Quote
Kay Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 the arrangements cool, the tinniness of the acoustics is terrible haha. Update on my bands alk3 tribute gig, we had our first proper rehearsal for it today. Managed to roughly sort out Stupid Kid, This Addiction and Radio and they're sounding fairly good. Despite saying we weren't going to do Time To Waste (due to lack of piano) and Burn (due to lack of pedal) we decided to just work around that and we tried them today on a whim, I roughly worked out a simplified way of doing the piano parts on the guitars and bass and its different but kind of cool. Burn we just did it straight and it actually works quite well regardless, so it looks like it's going to be a full on singles fest for the show, with Armageddon tagged on. It's definitely not my favourite alk3 songs, but considering who we're playing for its the most sensible option... They're still great fucking songs, end of the day. Quote
radioactive tomdog Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 miss this tv show/network, always full of great performances 1 Quote
Emil Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Remembered this gem today, this has got to be one of the most unique Trio songs ever. No metaphors, no dark twists, just an honest song about how things get better. In my opinion some of Matt's best and most relatable lyrics, I guess anyone who lost someone close to them can relate. Ghost Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Hey, let's show some love for Danny. Skip to the 3:42 for the song, or play it since beginning for some laughs. Quote

Kay Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 heard it the other day, one of my fave alk3 songs, nice to hear it so different. Quote

This is the sort of influence i was hoping he would bring to blink, instead we got Feldman trying to turn them into All Time Low, Quote
Ghost Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Dude, that's an acoustic version. Wait for a proper acoustic blink release to see that kind of influence. Quote
Ghost Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Just stumbled upon this performance again. It's awesome. Raw, acoustic and live. for the radio Derek providing second guitar and second voice for Dan. And this Emma performance, I think, was like a warm up for that: 3 Quote
