The Official, Comprehensive Blink-182 Timeline

A very special show for the timeline from 22 years ago: 1997-11-09 Oviedo, Spain - El Antiguo (European Tour '97) Other bands: Pulley and Lagwagon

Flier:
1997-11-09-Oviedo-Spain-El-Antiguo-Europ

Ticket:
1997-11-09-Oviedo-Spain-El-Antiguo-Europ

My hometown's show! - The stage was pretty weird and they found it very funny. They only played for 20-30 mins and were making jokes all the time, even sexual jokes in Spanish (Tom definitely knows a few words in Spanish and let me tell you that he sounds fucking hilarious - apparently her grandmother is Spanish, check out this interview here

After playing they went selling merchandising themselves... One of the funny things is that they put a sign on their merch table that read "Who's selling marihuana?". They didn't manage to sell all their merchandising.
They had water balloons too and were messing around with the drinks they were having and also chatting up women 😂

This show was recorded on video. There are two different versions that I'm aware of. Unfortunately the filmers can't find the VHS tapes.
There's also an audio bootleg of this show - and guess what? - It's fucking lost too... 😩

It's just for advertising purposes.

but why not just put your web address in a slug at the bottom? why put it right in the middle, degrading the quality of the image? i'm sorry, but as someone trying to preserve the historical record of the band, this rubs me the wrong way.

why not stopping being grumpy?, why can't you just enjoy what you just see as anyone else? - Deal with it and it'll start rubbing you the right way.

Another show for the timeline from 22 years ago: 1997-11-08 Bergara, Spain - Sala Jam (European Tour '97) Other bands: Pulley and Lagwagon

blink played right after Pulley. This show was recorded on video by a friend of mine. I've got a VHS copy with Pulley and Lagwagon's set. Unfortunately blink is missing... 😭
Spain is the last country where blink played before dropping out of this European Tour '97.

Adding a picture of Mark playing this show in Bergara, Spain:

Would like to add that they played M+M's. For some reason they weren't selling any records on their merch table.

nothing grumpy about it. what you're doing is graffiti. it's no different than spray painting "LUIS RULZ" on a wall. except this wall happens to be a historical artifact of a band's history (which you in no way own). and all so you can "advertise." so it's more like spray painting "LUISCASH4SPIDERS.COM" on a fucking public statue.

you've got less than 150 posts, so it's not like you're some big contributor to the community here. you've annoyed me in the past, and now you've started filling the timeline with images you found on the internet with your stupid URL pasted right in the middle. and where does "luisbootlegs.tk" go? it directs to http://www.lsl.com/en/#wl3 which is a fucking porn link hub.

i'll just begin downloading them, removing your graffiti, and reposting them to the timeline. here we go:

I'm trying hard to find new video/pictures of the shows they played on the European Tour '97, hence the tags!. Nowadays is all about social media and letting people know how/where they can find me.

I don't see the point of bringing up the number of posts I made so far, I think it's out of context. - What did I do to annoy you in the past?, you got me lost there. - The images I'm uploading are from my personal collection!. I got them after contacting 100s of people over the years and asking them for pictures/video/audio... - The porn website redirection sucks, My luisbootlegs.tk domain expired two weeks ago roughly and I didn't want to spend any money on renewing it so I'm just waiting until it's free for renewal, since then, it started pointing to the porn hub website that you mention, which is very unfortunate... (or maybe not) 😉 😂

i'll just begin downloading them, removing your graffiti, and reposting them to the timeline. here we go: Wouldn't it be just easier to put your pride to the side and just ask me to start uploading pictures without tags in a nice manner? cause I wouldn't mind doing that - All I've seen is just rhetorical questions on your comments for a while, with the only intention of leading to a situation like this.

i mean, it's lame. but a link to a porn hub? jeez. what a scumbag.

The only reason why I'm here is because I love the timeline project and think it's such a cool idea. I enjoy contributing to it either by providing new content or correcting mistakes in order to make it more accurate, I've got a lot of stuff from my personal collection that I still want to add to the timeline. However I'm not here to read disrespectful comments towards me, I hope that's clear from now on. It's crazy to think that all of this just started from uploading a bunch of pictures with tags on them...

1.) i think it's totally fair to include your contact info. but why do it right in the middle of the image, destroying its integrity?

2.) if you got the images from contacting other people, why not credit them instead of yourself?

3.) there is no pride in this at all. i'm making a case for the integrity of the images. pride would be if i downloaded images from this timeline and put my own watermark on them.

i'm sorry luis, but what you did pissed me off. you might not judge my reaction as appropriate, and that's fine. but it was my genuine response. i stand by my convictions on this: watermarking images for self-promotion is lame.

Yeah, I get wanting to tag yourself so people can find you for other stuff or contact you for questions but you could easily do it in a way that isn't quite so intrusive. It also suggests to most that they belong to "you" when they don't, which comes across as disingenuous. I think people are pumped about your input but no one owes you anything either.

1. I place them where I feel it's most noticeable, If I place them in a corner most of the people won't even realise of of the tags.
2. I have hundreds of pictures and it's impossible for me to remember the details of the people who took them. I got most of them on trades I did over 13 years ago, that's a long time ago.

You are right, I wasn't happy at all with your reaction. I thought you could have simply asked me to start uploading pictures without tags and I would have done. It would have been much easier than asking rhetorical questions and leading to all the disrespectful comments afterwards.

My convictions are: I'm a collector, my priority is to get people to contact me so that they can provide new stuff into my personal collection.

Nevertheless, from now on I will start uploading pictures without tags on this forum as I'm not here to create enemies or piss anyone off.

None of the pictures belong to me, definitely. As I said all I want is new people to come contact me and provide new stuff for my collection. Clearly no-one owes me anything... I never said that.
