twentytwenty
Sounds like the DED bridge. And you're talking a bout Tom recycling things!

Let's hear the final version and then judge. To me this drumming intro reminds of Fighting the Gravity - which is not bad thing at all. Recycling a drum beat is far less noticeable than recycling guitar and/or vocal patterns.

You're totally right, but I can't say that I agree with you when we're talking about Travis bridges.. They're totally like a guitar riff imo. Melty Mark
I don't like their up-tempo, danger-beat type songs. Up tempo is great for them, obviously, but when it gets into Natives-like territory, I dunno. I don't like it as much.
Popular Post NotNow
Holy fuck guys. Travis just said on snapchat they're sequencing the album. The albums done. Like done done.

Kay
They usually sequence before they master. because of fade ins and stuff, making sure everything flows correctly. so It's 'done' in the sense that they've stopped recording but there's still work to be done. Ghost
Hm... I think they have to mix the thing too, then going for thee mastering. The mixing process can be a little bit tricky, but at the level they are, I'm sure it's pretty much done or have a clear clue about how whant the songs to be mixed. Don't you normally mix before sequencing though and then do mastering?
Speedo
No, usually sequencing, mixing, mastering.
nextmarkhoppus44
Honestly, I highly doubt it'll sound anything like Untitled. It's been 10+ years since that album, their tastes have changed since then AND it seemed like Tom was the one who captured the Untitled sound. bastard
Agreed. Really don't think it'll sound like Untitled (Selftitled?). I just hope for more stronger heavier guitars.
nextmarkhoppus44
By heavier, do you mean sharp guitar riffs like from EOTS?
bastard
For example yes. Doesn't have to be too poppy or pop punk - but some more punk (power chords) influences are welcome. I do think some songs will have them.
