boxelder Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Are people seriously getting butthurt about Mark's news being spread? It's the fucking INTERNET. Anything posted on it is fairgame. If he never wanted it to spread then he should've never posted it. Period. Give me a break. damn i missed a little bit today haha. i agree with this post mostly though. from what i understand, he doesn't typically post information like that on the group page. so i see no reason why it shouldn't have been shared (or screenshotted, for that matter) for the rest of the people who don't have the good fortune to be a part of the inner circle of folks that get added to the group. mark's been around the block. he's been a celebrity for 16 years. i doubt he cares if ANYTHING he says there is shared. he just goes there so he isn't bombarded by fucking weirdos. Knapppers Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Im with speedo. It better be fast and hard hitting. So many people on here getting so hard over Skiba joining and would bitch about Tom's yodeling and synths. Yall better not have anything to bitch about when the new music comes out 2 Quote
Cheerios4u98 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Topic title ... Blink to continue working on future album in next few days.It better be fast and fun or they can fuck themselves. I beer not be hearing an album of melodramatic bullshit. I agree. As much as I've liked When Your Heart Stops Beating and Neighborhoods I'm tired of dark, depressing Mark. Bring back the fast, fun, upbeat punk music that I fell in love with before. 1 Quote
daveyjones Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 I'm tired of dark, depressing Mark. you do get that he's writing material with matt skiba of alkaline trio now, right? 2 Quote
Kay Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 I dont mind dark and depressing Mark. but I kinda want angry Mark. I want some 'fuck you' on this record, it's been seriously lacking in blink since the reunion. Quote
radioactive tomdog Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 mark writes his best music when he hates tom. so, i have high expectations. 2 Quote
bennett Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 mark writes his best music when he hates tom. so, i have high expectations. i still consider +44 marks best work by far. and we even got to see a little of it come out in tom's heart's all gone. now he's got 8 years of disappointment to write about. expecting some good tunes as well 1 Quote

Fun, Catchy Pop-Punk Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Dude Ranch followed by Enema was my favourite era of Mark's lyrics. Apple Shampoo, Waggy, Going Away to College, etc. are all great. WYHSB is a close third though. 1 Quote

Fun, Catchy Pop-Punk Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 +44 is a better album than untitled or neighborhoods. Agreed for Neighborhoods but not Untitled. WYHSB has some really fucking good tunes, like No It Isn't, Baby Come On, Lycanthrope, Lillian, etc. But it also has some stinkers like Weatherman and Little Death IMO. Instrumentally it doesn't even come close to Untitled, but lyrically I could see your point. 1 Quote

Even if you don't appreciate how the songs sound, do you at least appreciate how beautiful the production is? The songs blend into each other SO well, and some of the decisions on the songs were just brilliant. Untitled was the big album that made me realize how amazing Jerry Finn was and how he helped make them a top 40 band. 1 Quote

nextmarkhoppus44 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 I can't wait for emo dark blink! Quote
OliverIsTheNewDylan Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 It's rare that an opinion on music can be wrong. The opinion that Untitled is blinks worst record wrong. 1 Quote
