It's definitely derivative of Tom (guitar-wise especially BCR, and some of the vocals more recent), but I actually really like it! The chorus is catchy, and overall it's a pretty solid song. No offense, however, but you're the only member of the band I don't want to fuck.

 

edit) - Had to give it another listen. Man, I really love the vocal melody in the chorus. This song has a lot of what most bands are lacking these days. I think you guys still need to find your unique sound a bit and get away from your more obvious influences (Tom basically), but I would probably buy an album of songs like this, and I think the potential is great.

I think it's pretty solid. All the instruments seem to lose track of tempo at different points and it makes it feel a bit unpolished, and the video is kind of an odd choice, but the song is pretty good.

It's weird that the bass parts in the song don't match what she's playing. odd choice. she also looks super uncomfortable. 

 

It's not my cup of tea but that's mostly because of the super-Tom-ness of it. You guys need to get away from that a little. You seem like a damn solid drummer though! and yeah there's some good melody lines in there.

I recorded and produced everything in my room, so yeah its not perfect haha. We are talking about going to an actual studio for the next one. Glad you like the song!

Yeah, I actually made up the bass parts and we ran her through the basics of it real fast.

Bass is not her first instrument. She is super talented though, she can play everything. Even things she has virtually no experience with haha. Our old bass player quit so we needed a fill in. She is the guitar players sister btw.
