I haven't been really keeping up lately, but do we have an idea of when this will be released? Last I heard it was supposed to be at the end of 2016.

I'm betting it won't come till we get to the one year anniversary of California

yeah, that'd be great to hear acoustic songs from matt.

I didn't mean acoustic songs for the record I mean more that he'd have come up with some stuff on his acoustic between shows whilst touring to bring actual full songs to the studio, instead of having feldy and mark write them all.

"She's Out Of Her Mind" hit #1 today. Sadly, Green Day will most likely block them from that spot on BDS/Billboard (which is the "official" chart).

Almost up there. It fell short by 29 spins. Here's hoping it happens next week.

For the moment it's their sixth song to peak at #2 (damn; pretty sure they have the "record" for most #2s).

In Travis' biography he goes out of his way to say that he hates producers that write songs for bands.

He also says that Neighborhoods was tough because Finn wasn't there to guide them. The band trusted him and listened when he told them to make changes or do something different.

Logic would suggest that Feldmann probably took on a bit more of a writing role since they lost their lead guitarist and songwriter, but still operated as a trustworthy mentor more than anything.

Travis didn't even get song writing credits on Enema and had to threaten the band in order to get them on TOYPAJ. Clearly songwriting creds can be part of an arrangement. I'm not saying Feldmann didn't help write, but I think it is WAY overplayed on this message board. Like whoa.
