Meltdown Tracker
New single just released, it's not terrible (see the Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie) but is definitely a lot more different than what they usually put out. Still has that funk sound though, but can't say I'm a huge fan. Danger Mouse is producing the record, who has worked with bands like The Black Keys and U2. The album art is pretty awesome IMO. High Value Man
I like this song, but I miss Frusciante's guitar, ever since he left and they got that shitty replacement the guitar work is just shit/ non existent. That was like half the draw of their songs. Flea once said that it was not RHCP without John, it really isn't.
Ghent
Another good release, but I agree with Oliver. Majorly missing that RHCP guitar work.

Agreed when they first announced he left i knew it wouldn't be the same and their last record showed that IMO. This song is alright as a bass player i love that it's bass driven. But it needs better guitar with it.
Ghent
It doesn't even seem like this Klinghoffer guy wants to play guitar in their songs. So "experimental" it's like what's the point?

Chrisx37
Not bad, bass is awesome. But it's not the type of song I could see myself revisiting a whole lot.
b00bies
i think it's great. it will blend together with the album pretty good. at this point of their career they can write anything they want, i just hope it wont sound like a coldplay.
