Singing Thread

There's a thread for all instruments..but not for singing i guess.

mark and tom are the reason i believe everyone can become a singer...not everyone will sound amazing, but everyne could sound decent with some practise

how many of you guys sing yourself?, 

i started out really bad (plain flat vocals), but it got a lot better over time. curious about other people too, so post stuff if u feel like it

I did this song for Oliver once, it's Up All Night but Tom singing to Oliver, and I am still pretty proud of it. I also have an awful Everlong cover on this account, but I put it up before I cleaned out my hard drive in case I changed my mind and liked it.. Still no. I sound a bit different now, more controlled and whatnot, but I haven't recorded anything in ages.

As someone who has spent literally 6 hours in a row trying to teach my tone deaf friend to sing the line "Oh what a beautiful morning" in tune, I can say that this is not true. there are some people who are just physically incapable of singing 'decent' after some practise. 

However, most people can manage it so I'll give you that. 

I'm a singer, as well as a musician. I sing for both my band and my solo work, as well as a metric shit ton of other stuff. This is an example of my voice if you're curious - 

I always take singing for granted, because it's something I've always done, and I've never liked my own voice. most people don't so thats not a shock but I really dislike my voice a lot of the time, but it's what I get the most compliments for in regards to my work so who knows.

i like your voice, reminds me of someone i know. also..i think your voice would sound good in billy talent, or bands like that. but i love the soter side ur singing in

i'm making demo's and have been writing songs....i'm starting a poppunk band and i will be one of the singers.

(i can sing a lot better than this....and i didn't figure out what the best key was for this part)

but here's a phone demo of ''paper cuts'')   i think it sounds very blink/yellowcard'ish
