Favorite album of 2016

The new Face to Face album is very very solid and that long list made think that I forgot Cody by Joyce Manor.

2016 was a weird year, some of the albums that came out are good but I didn't spend much time listening to them like I used to do the other years with new albums that I liked. I feel like Stan on that episode of South Park when he turns 10 and all his friends are listening to "tween wave" (or something like that) and they love it but he doesn't.

yea both protection and cody are great

Absolutely, Face to Face went back to their roots but with a fresh sound and without being too nostalgic.

I heard some critics about Joyce Manor because the new album seems to be too "poppy" but I think it's just the logical  progression after Never Hungover Again.

I think 2016 is officially the year I fell out of love with music. Literally can't think of anything new I've listened to this year and loved.

Then, look behind you, start to undo the road and dig into the past. Youl'll find gems, Dan. You'l fall in love again, I can tell you. :)

Just checked it out and ugg that singer.

Sounds a bit like old Tom DeLonge to me.

I'm really picky with singers though so I totally get where you're coming from. I can't listen to certain artists because of their voices. Kinda like what I was saying in that blink covers thread.

Anyway I don't know what it is about this album but I love it. I can't stop listening to it.
