boxelder
we've asked which song is the best from each album. but what two blink songs from each album would you keep, discarding the rest? what are your favorites and why?
allsystemsgo
Cheshire Cat - Wasting Time and Does My Breath Smell? Dude Ranch - Josie and I'm Sorry. The former being perhaps my favorite blink song and the latter when that 3rd riff starts it just sounds like pure blink. EOTS - Don't Leave Me and Dysentary Gary. Pretty hard to choose honestly, but when I saw blink play Dysentary Gary live it was just so awesome with the animated screen behind them synchronizing with song. That just really stuck with me for some reason. TOYPAJ - Online Songs (always been another favorite) and SOALG (the last chorus in particular). Reckless Abandon gets an honorable mention. Selftitled - Perhaps my least favorite blink album. I'll go withe Feeling This and Here's Your Letter since those are the ones I really enjoy hearing. Not Now too. Neighborhoods - Natives and Even If She Falls. The latter being one of blink's best songs. California - TOTTM (I like the fast paced songs) and No Future. boxelder
cheshire cat -- carousel and wasting time dude ranch -- dammit and josie. one song defines the band and one is just sweet! enema of the state -- going away to college and what's my age again?. two great mark songs that cover common themes but just perfect them. take off your pants and jacket -- the rock show and first date. singles but i don't like this album a lot. untitled -- feeling this and i miss you. two neighborhoods -- ghost on the dance floor and after midnight California -- cynical and san diego I know I mostly picked singles but they do describe the albums to me! with cali i'd happily discard the rest... lol
Jan Backing Track
Dude Ranch - Emo & Dammit hm: Pathetic EOTS - Dumpweed & Adams Song hm: Mutt TOYPAJ - Roller Coaster & Rock Show hm: Mother's Day Untitled - Violence & Feeling This hm: Here's Your Letter Neighborhoods - Natives & Kaleidscope hm: FIGHTING THE GRAVITY DED - When I Was Young California - Cynical
Speedo
I hope I don't die young enough to still be listening to Blink 182.
Nasa
Cheshire Cat: M+M's and Wasting Time because they're fast and I like the lyrical themes. Dude Ranch: Emo and Josie. Emo has cool vocals and Josie is really sweet! EOTS: Adam's Song and Mutt. Adam's Song has played an important role in my life and Mutt is just classic blink. TOYPAJ: Roller Coaster and Reckless Abandon. I think Roller Coaster is one of Mark's best songs and Reckless Abandon is fun. Untitled: Feeling This and Asthenia. Feeling This is my favorite blink song and Asthenia is cool. Neighborhoods: Heart's All Gone and Kaleidoscope. HAG brings out the best of emotional Mark and Kaleidoscope is one of the best blink songs post-reunion. Dogs Eating Dogs: Boxing Day. I like acoustic. California: Cynical and San Diego. The only songs from the album that I listen to regularly.
Dylan_
Cheshire Cat: M+M's and Wasting Time. Both are classic Mark songs and great to sing along to. Dude Ranch: Pathetic and Dammit. Awesome back and forth vocals between Mark and Tom and Dammit is what got me listening to the band. EOTS: Going Away to College and Dumpweed. Each one of Marks and Toms best songs TOYPAJ: Reckless Abandon and Every time I Look For You. Both are fast songs and bring back memories from my teen years. Untitled: Feeling This and Asthenia. Another great song where Mark and Tom share vocals. Asthenia is one of my favorite blink tracks. Neighborhoods: Ghosts on the Dancefloor and Even if She Falls. GOTDF is a direction I would of liked to hear the band go in and EISF is one of the last great songs Tom has written. California: Cynical and San Diego. My favorite two songs off the album. epitaphellcat
Cheshire Cat: Fentoozler/Strings. For whatever reason 2 of my favorite pre-Travis songs Dude Ranch: Dammit/Josie Enema: Dumpweed/Wendy Clear TOYPAJ: Roller Coaster/Don't Tell Me That It's Over...2 of my favorites all time. MTATS: These are both because of Travis' touch on 2 Dude Ranch era songs bring them over the top. Voyeur/Untitled Untitled: Feeling This/Not Now. Feeling This I've always felt is blink at their ultimate peek. If I ever show someone that's never heard the band, that's the one. Not Now is what I imagine blink would have been if Tom didn't start AVA Neighborhoods: Snake Charmer/Wishing Well. Love both. Dogs Eating Dogs: Boxing Day/When I Was Young. Would have chosen PLG second but I hate Yelawolfs part. California: Cynical/The Only Thing That Matters

Kay
Christ, this is hard. Cheshire Cat - Strings, Cacophony Dude Ranch - Pathetic, I'm Sorry Enema - Adam's Song, Alien's Exist (christ this one was hard!) TOYPAJ - ST4TKs, Online Songs (christ this is hard too!!!) Self Titled - Feeling This, Asthenia Neighbourhoods - Kaleidoscope, Fighting The Gravity California - Cynical, San Diego That was way too hard for some of those records. It's weird because most of my choices are super depressing, and unsurprisingly Mark heavy.
