Blink has never really released shit I wasn't interested in hearing before, this is a weird era for me personally. It seems I'm just getting old and jaded these days.

No, they are getting old and jaded.  I'm still young and I hate this shit.  I dread this shit. I'm only here for emotional support.

Maybe that too but I don't know the general consensus for a blink/wayne mash up outside of the uber fans on this board so it's hard to gauge if it's actually stupid or if I'm just out of touch.

These songs are old man.

So the new version of WMAA is out

Lil Wayne sounds horrible, but the re-recorded stuff is cool to hear i guess

I guess its a mix between that live performance, with lots of studio re-recordings over it

They should have rerecorded a Tom song with Matt instead, just to make people extra mad.

(but for real I'd be genuinely interested in listening to that if they ever did it)

I’d pay good money for that just for the meltdowns that would accompany it.

We’d certainly have to create The Offical blink-182online.com Meltdown thread

To be fair, i really like the re-recorded chorus parts. I get that Mark's voice is pitched more perfect than the 1999 version during a few melody moments but i really like it

Its just that i can't take lil wayne serious, who would like that kind of vocal tone...

Wuss! I listened to the whole thing, it gave me the confidence I needed to write a song. The song sucks but it doesn't suck as bad as that blink/wayne mashup.

It's like... Dae Grohl re-recorded some Nirvana classic shit using, whatever, a raper if you want. Or some thing like that. Awful as fuck.

On the plus side it's apparently the first blink song Tom's credited as a writer on since Dogs Eating Dogs. So there's that.

interesting to see all of the credits on a known song....it's almost like....people get their name slapped on a bunch of stuff just because they were in the studio??

Tom's smart, he's not gonna let them get away with that without getting his cut. (And rightfully so I suppose, even though Mark wrote the song)

Which should've been abundantly clear 3 years ago, look no further than Feldy/Skiba getting full writing credits on "Built This Pool" which was fully written by Mark years before...

Really cool to hear the re-recorded WMAA parts. The mix with Wayne doesn't sound too great though.
