M!ke
All things considered, I really like the set, and am very happy that we'll likely have access to a recording of it. Its very obviously not just the same setlist over the years, I think the main problem is that they slowly take out songs and put new ones into the last setlist that they had so that seemingly the setlist hardly changes. Yet if you compare this set to a full set from back in 2009, you will see 2 very different playlists.
allsystemsgo
I think Mark will just say he was misinterpreted in the interview. Would be a bullshit excuse but then again, blink not delivering? What else is new.

Osgod
So fucking annoying they didn't do the "surprise". Why do they do shit like this? True! The show was awesome but that really sucks.
asdf182
Greatest hits setlist + hybrid moments... Oh wow, what a 'surprise'!
Meltdown Tracker
Is there a chance the surprise and the Kerrang announcement are the same thing?
allsystemsgo
The setlist may be "different" but going from stale shit to a little less stale shit isn't that good.

ManchesterAdam
Paramore and AM both did 90% singles, like Blink. They were playing in front of 100,000- it'd have killed the atmosphere to play too many non-singles
shoop36
"We're going to play some songs off our last EP, songs that we haven't played in Europe," he says. "That came out at the end of 2012, so we'll do that, and then we'll play a lot of the classics, but we'll have something special that we haven't played for a long, long time that we've brought back and people are going to love that." HEH.
allsystemsgo
Sure the show was fine but ffs throw in at least 1-2 oldies for the hardcore fans. It's just lazy.

Ghent
I don't get why violence was in the encore or why they used the fuck sign during it. Also tired if the dammit/confetti/family reunion ending. It has gotten old. Those are my complaints.

HEH. In fairness, we don't know when that was recorded, or the context it was taken in. People are always misquoted, for example without reading the last part too closely lots of people assumed it referred to the fuck sign. Now if you, as a journalist, decide to quote from notes, then it may be a very different story. Or they say shit they don't mean or follow up on all the time. Take your pick. Still a fucking awesome show and a great live recording hopefully!

High Value Man
This is really going to be the test. Tom is all gung ho about Blink now just like he was last year....new album by Reading and all that. Now everything has just advanced a year. So with AVA in the works it will be very interesting to see if this continues or it fizzles. I don't think Mark or Travis will allow themselves to be dealt another no show by Tom. So its kind of make or break this coming year I think.
