Lauren
But im not arguing that blink did use it on Enema. Maybe they didnt. But toypaj or any other album didnt sound different because they started using it.

Pro tools has nothing to do with how the albums are different. DAWs dont give your tracks any effects or “sound”. Damn. Enema is 30 years old? Cant believe Tom was 14 when they recorded that.

Neal
Untitled has got to be one of the finest produced rock albums of that decade. you can like the songs or not, but the production is remarkable and so unique.

Lauren
Untitled is my favorite sounding blink album. Its unique and not the typical polished pop sound.

petros
Untitled sounds awesome and at the same time I love how take off sounds. Maybe more than enema. Which now that I think about it imo take off>enema. I believe now and after saying neighborhoods>>>dude ranch you can all gather together and burn me alive. Ghost
Hah! THey have no balls to do it. There's no way they would release those demos. And it's a shame. I'd love to hear some demos, b-sides and unreleased songs. Maybe re-do them on its entirely? That's another thing.
Kay
I'd love in a few years time when they finally put blink to bed and go 'fuck it' to the saving face mentality and just release everything. old demos, the blinkumentary, all of it. see all of it in its potentially awful glory for a quick buck. 2

Popular Post Elisa
I'm very late but let me rant about this: Cheshire Cat is just amazing. I played it at work the other day and I wanted to cry. It's just like when you're at the gym and you think you've hit a wall but when any songs from that album come on, you get a second wind. Bad comparison? I know. But I'm tired and I'm struggling to come up with one that actually fits ?? And Dude Ranch is their best album. It put Blink onto the scene, brilliant punk rock, overdrived Drop D guitars, gritty riffs and hoarse vocals. I don't have problems with the production, even though we all know Jerry Finn was something else. Try to listen to any pop punk album from 1999 or 2001. And then play Enema and TOYPAJ. They still are so fresh and there is nothing stale about the sound that makes you think "oh these albums are so good but they definitely are a product of their time." And Untitled's forte is the fact that it really is one of those albums you can keep going back and listening to and every time you do, you find new things to love about it. Then you have albums from the early 2000s or albums released less than 10 years ago that haven't aged well at all, but Cheshire Cat and Dude Ranch have aged so well. And all the albums they did with Finn too of course. This is very rare for a band, and this is also why we're still mad at California.
