So dont get ur panties all twisted up. I'm sure they will create there own event. I did like how he said he doesnt know what AVA will be doing in 2010 or if they will be even touring haha. That tells me the rest of 2009 is all Blink. I never thought they would tour like they did before but there will still be plenty of gigs. Quote

I've been thinking on it since blink-182 made the official reunion statement at Grammy Awards. And I mean... when you are in two bands at that level, it's supposed that when you're writing/recording/touring with one, you are 'resting' about the other one, or better said: you are doing all the stuff with one band when it's time to rest for the other. So... if Tom wants to keep both bands fully working (we know it's not exactly as that, because he's focused on blink, as he said) you, technically, have no time to rest from touring, and recording and stuff... in other words: you have not time to disconnect from what is supposed to be your work. And this is a clear cause of stress and burnout shit. So I think that if is really true that Tom is focused on blink-182, AvA should (or will be as a kind of) turn into a kind of 'landscape' for his experimental or other artistic purposes. Quote

I mean they've all had sooo much personally happen to them i think the lyrics will be VERY interesting to listen to on this record. As far as the side project thing goes you guys have to remember this is COMPLETELY different. BCR was created DURING Blink and Tom took Travis with him which left mark out to dry.So this is completely different. It also seems to me from watching the modcam that tom is VERY excited for Blink and whats to come which is AWESOME to see.Like i said earlier they've all grown so much since "the break" (remember it wasnt a full break up hahaha) that they KNNOW how to handle things now.They know how they want to tour and i think its gunna be a GREAT 2nd coming of Blink! I'm personally hope the album stays along the same lines as Self-Titled which had a mixture of all AVA,BCR,and Blink which i thing is what tom tried to say to us last night. Don't worry Kids Mark,Tom and Travis WILL not let us down..They know how BIG this whole thing is..I don't think Tom realized how Big Blink was untill this past week and now hes like holy shit we did make a difference.. Guest j440 Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 i think tom will do fine with 2 bands. hes already got it somewhat layed out for himself.. hes spending time with blink and angels, but hes dedicating most of 09 to blink. he most likely wont run both at the same time, hell probably do a year of blink, and when they have their off time he will do ava. and like he said, he can do what ever he wants with ava, so if he needs a break hell take one. blink is obviously not gonna go down the same path. all you people bringing up ways how things can get fucked up is just dumb.. blink is back, be happy. I really really doubt those "demos" will be anything at all what the songs will sound like. If the album doesn't have the self-titled sound/feel to it, I'll be seriously surprised and disappointed.
