Scott. Posted August 10, 2022 Posted August 10, 2022 I can’t believe untitled is 20 years old next year. Getting old is fucking shit. I just seen a TikTok of the song violence and a comment said old but gold and I was thinking it’s not fucking old and then the realisation hit me ? Jesus Christ 4 1 Quote

Ideally a name who has worked with popular rock bands. But with Travis entrenched in the process, I think we’re stuck with them chasing top 40 appeal. For real! Get butch vig or Rick Rubin or something , along with a fully committed mark, Tom, and Travis, ready to submit to said producer and work together in the same room to go out with a bang. Tom would return to his old angsty voice and they would make one last record with some balls and great tones in it. Go out with a great last tour and Tom would try and party like it’s 1999. Okay now I’m asking way too much, but it’s obvious they benefited greatly from a great producer (Jerry Finn). Never been near as good without 2 1 Quote

blink182.net - Jan Posted August 10, 2022 Posted August 10, 2022 Coincidentally, my depression started right about when The Adventure came out. Fuck you, Tom. 1 Quote

Aren’t you like, late 20s? Weren’t you a kid when the record came out? like I know time flies or whatever but I was literally 14 when that record dropped, I wouldn’t categorise my entire adult life as a “blink” 1 1 Quote

Then don't. What a bunch of negative wankers. I'm 30. I was 15 when it came out. Life since high school started has essentially been a BLINK. Good for you though. Quote
Speedo Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 One more blink and she’ll be asking “what’s my age again?” on account of the dementia! No pun intended, of course! 2 Quote

I've lived a pretty busy life since high school began and it's crazy to think it'll be 20 years soon since that record came out. I didn't think I needed to elaborate on such an apparent controversial take, but for me life was substantially slower prior because summers were essentially fully free as a kid, around when Enema and TOYPAJ came out, life felt like a glorious crawl listening to those albums through it. Self Titled came out when I first started working summers, then school + work/moving, then adult life. I can't believe I'm even responding to these trolls. 1 Quote
