Kind of poetic that his idol has proven him wrong. Mark kind of comes off as a bit of a sell out/shill with how he addressed this issue and in comparison to the Cure (it’s not unique to Blink, but don’t come out and say there’s nothing you could have done). 2 1 Quote

I think it’s a situation where the truth lies somewhere in between. I imagine blinks production budget is more than the Cure, and that contributes to the cost, but if they really wanted to push the issue the costs could have come down. They used dynamic pricing iirc, which imo doesn’t do much other than hurt the fan more than deter a scalper (both just have to pay out the ass now). To be fair, Robert Smith is doing A LOT right now. That's a bit above and beyond to force meetings with Ticketmaster to call out their bullshit. More could, yes, but it definitely doesn't seem like a cake walk to deal with their system. Also, fuck yeah Robert Smith. 4 Quote
