What are you even going on about?  Him & Travis made something decent.  No one was a fan of MGK prior to that point, at least that I'm aware of, I remember one party song with him and Wacka Flocka or something prior to that at least a decade prior.  They made something surprisingly good, they've done nothing after.  It is what it is ?‍♂️

Not decent at all dude, that’s where you’re wrong. By the way, the only people who thought MGK beat Eminem in a rap beef are the ones who think MGK made “punk” music…aka you, lol. Aka, anybody that knows rap, says MGK was a joke. Just like anyone who cares about quality punk and pop/punk music knows MGK is a joke at that too. See a trend here?

I thought it was decent ?‍♂️ Tickets had some hits.  I feel like your adamancy can't change my opinion on it so what is the point of this?

Thanks for keeping the genre semi-relevant and afloat!

 

I will always consider MGK's tickets, despite what you feel about him, I literally follow/listen to nothing from him outside 'the album', but in hindsight I will always put this album somewhere in the genre history as the album Travis & him made that 'bridged' the genre or kept it afloat a bit during COVID and a dying point too, or at least the bridge between the 'emo' rap (which was heavy influenced by pop punk) - with this excellent homage and total left field thing with MGK hosting it a former rap artist. 

It definitely holds some weight. 

Now you have stuff like Neck Deep coming back alive who were the youths before, and Blink & Alkaline slaying their veteran status with great 'comeback' albums.  

Now just waiting for that serious 'comeback' that leaves us all speechless.  OMT was good, but I think they could do even better if they really wanted to.  I really only think blink or Green Day can do this, and I've lost all hope in the latter ever moving anyone again.

For sure! I remember watching and waiting for them to come on for that Coachella performance, and finally you saw Mark and Tom standing there together with their guitars waiting to go on. So surreal

People assumed a turpentine vid based on some snapchats we saw or something. Nothing ever confirmed.
