Historic find for the Timeline Website

I posted this on the Timeline thread but it deserves it's own post here as well for historic reasons!

The full Rage segments and clips have surfaced from Blink's episode on Rage. Also this is Scott's last interview with the band before being kicked out of the band at the end of May 1998

6/27/1998: The band are "guest programmers" for RAGE.

Um, excuse me, Scott is better than Travis? Well I do know of an old tape of him rapping the lyrics to Family Reunion, but did he ever step outside of hardcore and metal? Or can he fully produce a good track?

I do think it's so nice that he is a part of a charity teaching music to troubled adolescents though. Definitely a huge change from spiting his bandmates by getting drunk after they told him to consider rehab.

Na Scott isn’t better than Travis. Some people enjoy the Scott era of blink more than the Travis era and that’s definitely understandable. But that’s just what I’d say to Scott if he pulled me over and I was trying to get out of a ticket lol.

I genuinely like Scott’s drumming more than Travis’ drumming but yeah, Travis is miles better than Scott. It’s not even close.

I am also on train "liked Scott's drumming better for blink but is not anywhere near as good a drummer as Travis or even same ballpark"

That doesn't go for everything though. I loved Travis on much of Enema and TOYPAJ when Finn had him tucked back in the mix more (that signature beat on Shut Up chorus, amazing moments like Adams Song), and some of the most artistic drumming I've ever heard/loved on Self Titled (Stockholm Syndrome) and Neighborhoods (HAG, Natives, DED).  He really carried a lot of DED's charm imo.

Fucking trash on Cali - OMT though. He just kind of resorted to this super loud exhausting same beat throughout. Not sure what happened.  He's lost a lot of his creativity.  But still highly skilled.

I just don’t like Scott’s drumming, something about it seems off. Don’t get me wrong because I love fast and simple punk beats. I just feel their are way better drummers that do that style of drumming, like nofx of pennywise’s drummers

You doing alright? Lol those drummers are way cleaner, faster, and more precise than Scott. I don’t know why you have to take it so personally.

Sure bud. I’m sorry I don’t think that Scott was a good drummer. I appreciate his time with blink and the music they made though. CC and DR are awesome
