OMT still brings back so many great memories of the reunion hype. Hoping the follow-up album brings in another fun era with these dudes.

Childhood is so bad. The heavy auto tuned Tom vocals are especially grating. It just goes on and on.

If they actually wrote it themselves I'd be more okay with it, and kind of was at first.  The effects are grating and got old super quickly though, classic Trav!

@JarJarBlinks what are your California-Nine stinkers?  Don't say the ones I like or I'll scream. 

 

I'll stand by Take Me In and probably that See You/Cut Me Off blunder (even though CMO was pretty good) were their biggest offenders from OMT followed closely by Fell In Love and Childhood.  The Effects and drum sounds are awful!

Take Me In is Childhood, but good. The chorus melody carries it hard.

I can't stand Los Angeles...it sounds like Imagine Dragons or Linkin Park or something.  No Future is really bad too. 

I think Nine ends awfully bad... Hungover You and Remember to Forget Me are just so bland...and the outro is so hyped and loved for some reason but it's not that cool. Why not end the album with a couple of those last three and then mix in a high energy song to break it up. 

Instead it's like 3 ballads in a row and really drags for no reason.

I can see that.  I like Los Angeles, beautiful bridge, but can see why - it's very different.  But I preferred that over them trying to recreate TOYPAJ blink w/ Matt (but without Finn).  No Future gang vocals are mega cringe, cosign.  But middle pack for me.

Hungover You is whatever, I can remember where I was when I heard that song, oddly, usual skip.  RTFM is awful and sounds generated, cosign.  Agreed on the ballad frenzy, was probably what did it for Matt too and them just feeling stuck or lost or w.e.

More revisionist history from the no good liar who refuses to engage in good faith conversations. Color me shocked. This clown was a massive See You and Cut Me Off truther. Both are shitty songs by the way, as is Take Me In. 
 

This clown was literally saying the song OMT was one of the best songs of the last 25 years when it dropped. Then later he changed his position and lied saying he never said that. You really can’t trust anything this clown says. And his opinions are garbage anyways.

It has Feldmann written all over it.  They never did gang vocals, Goldfinger/Feld was all about that.  Lyrics sound like a Goldfinger song too.

Go find the receipts, I was iffy about OMT when it dropped but oozed over MTYK.  Everyone and their mother (literally) enjoyed the music video.

Not really, at least blink was performing the instruments on the album, MgK doesn’t even do that. Glad to see the pedo defenders are still going strong around here though!
