that was a boring read, you both need better hobbies.

any idea when we're getting new music? I don't use social media much at all these days.

They're supposedly demoing this summer.

Yes the One More Time tour is going to convince the robots - Tom made it all okay for us to come out now.. Instead of hiring Pat Smear they started an AI revolution (even though AI has nothing to do with backing tracks at an arena) - the end.

Backing tracks being normalized has already opened the door for AI to be normalized. The fact you can’t recognize the correlation has me deeply concerned for your cognitive health.

Thank you for pointing out that real ones hire a Pat Smear though I appreciate it.

Adding more ketchup to your burger is not the same as a computer generating fake ketchup out of its spout

Trash analogy. Funny how you want to keep moving the goalposts. Your main argument is that it’s needed for arenas but when I give a bunch of examples of bands with one bassist and one guitarist rocking arenas without backing tracks you cower like a little child.

You can cope all you want but the sentiment is the same. A COMPUTER playing the music a guitarist fakes playing live is no better than AI writing lyrics or creating music for someone on a recording. It’s all fake and all lacks integrity

You didn't give any examples and I don't care..if they used a backing track to enhance their sound at a larger show I wouldn't scoff at it.

It's their own music they created..it's no different than an amplifier

Not the same as a computer AI creating something..

Anyways, that's all for me! please don't quote me anymore! ✌️🧀

Yea I did you dumb ass. Van Halen, Motley Crue, Poison, all off the top of my dome. One bassist and one guitarist and one drummer. And they actually have less singers than blink. They all rocked arenas for decades with no backing tracks. The fact you want to sit here and pretend bands didn’t always rock arenas for years without backing tracks is absolutely pathetic and a bad faith argument from the start.  Your opinions on the bands are irrelevant.  They all rocked arenas with one guitar and no backing track which according to you is impossible!!! 🤡🤡🤡🤡

So don’t give me that bullshit excuse. You’re a boyband fan and that’s ok. You’re just not a rock and roll fan.

Yeah, I'll stick with Tom's lead on this one..

See, there you go, you’re an unserious person not arguing in good faith. What a big fat L you just took.

And oh yea, ever heard of blink-182 before 2009? They rocked arenas with no backing tracks. You’re just a bad faith clown

Pat Smear did not need another guitarist to rock. People like Cobain and Grohl did. One point for Smear.

Cobain did it alone for years. But he was a real one so he knew bringing in another guitarist was keeping it real and he would have NEVER considered backing tracks. If Kurt Cobain can put aside his ego and have another guitarist than surely Tom could…but he doesn’t care about keeping it real lol he’s more concerned with looking cool and selling T-shirts than playing guitar. You know I’m right lol

Stop using backing tracks Jan. I’ll fill in and play backup guitar for free. I’ll do backup vocals too but you gotta butter me up for that.

Pat Smear once played a song with Paul McCartney. I like to imagine Pat being like "I used to be in this amazing band, but in December 1980 the other guy died so we can't reunite, so I have to play in boring stuff like Foo Fighters to make a living. You wouldn't understand, Paul." I'm actually kinda pissed if he didn't say that.

Darby Crash only died a few hours earlier than John Lennon and got overshadowed!
