Hitchin A Ride is great, especially the bridge and ending of the song as it crescendos into heaven. I guess you’d rather rock out to Always or First Date more power to ya nerds 😘 Quote

Says the dude who is fanboying for the naked band who had plenty of gimmicks. Why do you make me point this shit out? Im not attacking blink im just pointing out how much of a delusional hypocrite you are lol Also Green Day isnt a gimmicky band at all. Extended live songs aren’t gimmicks dude, they already sold the records and got people to the show. Dont be a moron. But I figured it out. You’re coming from a place of jealousy and envy. Jealousy is a sickness. Suck on this Jellysickle, bro. Quote
Elisa Posted February 7 Posted February 7 i think blink will eventually play the super bowl at some point, but yeah i'm also hating how they're staying silent at the moment, tom and mark in particular 4 Quote

I was told that when Billie Joe posts stuff against Trump, Mike's wife would repost his posts on her IG stories adding the 🤮 emoji. Which is honestly so hypocritical, she should be thanking Billie Joe every day, she's rich and her family is living a great life because of Green Day. 2 Quote

I think they skip the ending live though, and sometimes they drag the song out so much it becomes anticlimactic. You just want the misery to end and can't appreciate the ending for what it is. 1 Quote

I used to love Hitchin’ A Ride, but hearing it live 5 or 6 times kinda ruined the song for me. It probably wouldn’t be a big thing if there wasn’t already a 15-minute King For A Day/Shout medley with different covers inside of it, 10 other minutes of Know Your Enemy etc. Still love Green Day though. 4 Quote
thongrider Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Brain Stew is another one. But contrary to Hitching a Ride and King for a Day I already hate Brain Stew, so at least the song isn't ruined. The saddest thing is all the good shorter songs they could've played in the timeslots given to these dragging long ones. 1 Quote

Gotta make you wonder what the internal conversations were between Mike and Billie? Does Mike just say yes to wherever he’s speaking to in the moment? Weird. 1 Quote

I don’t really think Mike is a Trump supporter, especially because there was a recent interview where the three of them talked about Trump and how much he damaged America. But at the same time, he’s kind of complicit, because he seems okay with his wife being one. I’ve known about the wife becoming more and more radicalized for a while because one of my close friends is a huge Green Day fan and she used to tell me about it. It started with anti-vax comments and eventually turned into her fully supporting Trump in every possible way. She’s also very active on social media, basically preaching the complete opposite of what the band has always stood for. My friend also said that sometimes she posts really unhinged stuff and then deletes it shortly after. Apparently she has mentioned in lives that her husband doesn’t agree with her and she gets mad about it, but who knows. I really struggle to understand how a relationship like that works at all though. As for Green Day, Mike and Billie Joe have been close since they were 10 years old, so I doubt either of them would want to risk destroying the band over an argument with her. They probably just tolerate it and try to ignore it. 2 Quote

I can't recall where he said that, but I remember it perfectly well. He told that before this past summer, aiming summer 2026 as a recording period for the band. But who in the hell knows. Blink has always been installed on the 'zero fucks given' policy in terms of being clear about their schedules. 2 Quote

There are several examples of people I know who were always hippies and covid broke their brains and they went full on MAGA. The horse-shoe theory strikes again. 2 Quote

Can't wait for them to boast about how heart warming it is that they are not only uber Punk Rock but also just casual football fans and wear sick ties under their jerseys. I still enjoy Green Day and they have released enjoyable music since their big resurgence in the early 2000's. I look forward to the performance. Quote

Silent about what’s happening in America politically, not silent about the bands schedule. 3 Quote
