but  i think on certain thing it was called

Time of Your Life (Good Riddance) 

could be a mistake or they felt like messing around with ppl a little bit

I was way out of the loop - I thought Green Day was going to perform at halftime, similar to when RHCP popped up during Bruno Mars's halftime show awhile back. When did Green Day play? I never saw them.

They kicked off the Super Bowl and played at the start of the broadcast at 6 pm EST on NBC.

Toms mentioned demoing ideas and recording. Nothing major or concrete with timeframes though.

Their songwriters are working on the next 20 songs and then they are jumping in to perform on them mid to late April
