Speedo
Has anyone done this, do the games work as well as the ones that came preloaded with the device?
Russel Coight
Like 95% of NES games work fine and about 75-80% of SNES games do. If one of the games you want falls into that small percentage you can just install retroarch emulators onto the SNES mini and run the games through that. Ghent
I hacked mine last night, only a few games out of like 50 didn't work. pretty slick. and now i can finally save my progress on some of the many games from my childhood that required you to beat the whole damn thing in one sitting, which I usually could never do. Meltdown Tracker
Yeah, it's pretty easy to hack them. And then you might need retroarch for any games that don't work.

Do you get to pick and choose what you want or is it more of a file dump?

Meltdown Tracker
The only ROM that didn't work for me were the Top Gear games.

Yeah, I had just a couple that didn't work. But overall it was easy and smooth. Scary though. Had just gotten it for xmas and hadn't used it yet. So bricking it would have sucked
BobbyCuomo
Just buy a raspberry pi. I got one on eBay that’s a 3d printed SNES with virtually every NES and SNES game on it. Was something like $
