Rank the Pop Punk Bands of our time

They were originally a Blink182 cover band, if I remember correctly.

I'm almost positive All Time Low started as a blink-182 cover band too. Before they got big I felt like that was fairly common knowledge if you knew the band, but once they got big it seems like the rewrote history slightly by saying they started out as a "cover band" but not specifying that it was blink-182.

I can't say for certain but I'm pretty damn sure that's the truth. Probably true for a lot of pop punk bands honestly.

My first band was blink 183.  Just throwing that out there.  We only learned Adam's Song.

This thread reminds me of being a sophomore in high school and listing as many underground metal/punk/hardcore bands in my Myspace profile I could in order to get scene-cred.

"Damn bro you've never heard of AMEBIX? What a fuckin' poser."-probably something I'd say.

Whats wrong with naming bands you like? It's a good way to lead someone to music they may enjoy but not have heard of otherwise or even find new music yourself.

The only pop punk that matters is California by Blink 182.
