Maddey Posted June 18, 2021 Posted June 18, 2021 Stoked. Red has never been my fav but I’m ready to give it a new chance Quote
Ghent Posted August 5, 2021 Author Posted August 5, 2021 She released a cryptic word puzzle and one of the names involved is Phoebe Bridgers. 1 Quote

This is kind of a bonus track 1 Quote
Patient #48273 Posted November 12, 2021 Posted November 12, 2021 Yeah, I still like the shorter version better, but I gasped at this line... I was never good at telling jokes, but the punch line goes, "I'll get older, but your lovers stay my age." ☠️☠️☠️ 1 Quote
Rocky Braveheart Posted November 12, 2021 Posted November 12, 2021 Was so excited for this but so let down. It's great and all, but the OG version is just vague enough to be relatable to anyone yet specific enough to tell a great story. Also the new verses whilst great and all just feel like a goddamn mess to me, none of them sounded like each other. they just felt like a collection of notes/ideas that were just chucked in for the sake of it. Having said that, I've only listened to it once and it's a LOT to take in so... 1 Quote
Patient #48273 Posted May 6, 2022 Posted May 6, 2022 The new version of This Love sounds really good. I hope we're getting the 1989 re-record soon. 1 Quote

Ghent Posted August 29, 2022 Author Posted August 29, 2022 Good question...if it's an album full of songs written while sitting around drunk at midnight (an incredible premise), I'm not sure the Folklore sound will work. Something more electronic? What kind drunk is she? Hyper? Sad? Trippy? A lot of directions this could go. Quote

I agree that she's probably moving on from the folklore/evermore sound though. Quote
Ghent Posted August 29, 2022 Author Posted August 29, 2022 Good point. The description is almost "spooky" sounding now that I reread it. Quote
Patient #48273 Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 We might get some upbeat-sounding music, but the lyrics are going to be depressing as fuck. 1 Quote
