Kay
This is difficult because I never liked BTD. this isn't a "its all shit" post I genuinely prefer the majority of California to Bored To Death, so it's weird to say. I dislike them both but for very different reasons. I guess BIOMY is less boring? I'll think on it.
Rocky Braveheart
BIOMY feels a shade more sincere and isn't a bag of nonsense (tigers in trees etc). Not to say it's a great song, but I am enjoying it more than BTD.
Low Value Boy
I liked Bored to Death a lot when it came out although can't remember the last time I listened to it, def got more excited hearing that than Blame it on my Youth so will have to with BTD.
thongrider
Bored to Death of course, their lead singles are getting consistently worse. "Dammit" was fantastic, and then "What's My Age Again" was a little worse, "The Rock Show" a little worse, "Feeling This" even worse, "Up All Night" pretty bad, "Bored to Death" basically boring and "BIOTMY" pretty awful actually. If this trend continues I'm concerned for the next album.
M!ke
Bored to Death, though i like Blame It On My Youth a lot and believe it will perform better on the radio.
thongrider
I don't think BIOMY will perform well on radio at all.

Will definitely tap into that huge Imagine Dragons fanbase that puts them on the radio all the fuckin time. This is a much more relevant and current song than Bored to Death was at the time it was released on the radio.

For maintaining an audience and ensuring your tours continue to reach out to new audiences, kinda, yeah. You know better than anyone, that a band is a business, especially one like blink, so it should be no surprise that their new single is clearly chasing after radio success. Patient #48273
I'm in the "I don't really like either" camp, but I'm going with BTD just because the bridge is a genuinely good moment and that's rare for post-Tom blink.

I think it has some of the elements that make modern radio terrible, but the music, like nasa said, it sounds very out of date. I think btd did well on rock radio, because it was catchy enough rock song. I will eat my hat if rhis becomes a pop hit.
