The part we got was the end of the song. Weird. I would have loved to have heard that. This crushes my idea that this fast punk song was written purely to appease angry blink fans who wanted music that sounded like this "Is it better now? Are we better now?" "We swore we'd be better than the last time." Like "does this song sound better? fuck you!" lol 1 Quote

Now that is interesting Not sure I can believe it though, because I don't think the team of 9 co-writers would have written a blink song about an argument Mark was having with this son... Quote

Why can’t you be punk and cool anymore?” ”You know what son, you suck and your mothers a whore. You want punk? I’ll give you punk.” And thus Generational Divide was born. 3 4 Quote

Popular Post Coightstradamus Posted July 2, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 2, 2019 Mark has Matt over at his house. Jack comes home, sees Matt, ignores him and walks straight to his room and starts blasting Angels and airwaves at full volume. 5 7 Quote
Ghent Posted July 2, 2019 Author Posted July 2, 2019 Haha I like to think that Tom’s kids are secret blink fans and have gotta wonder why he releases such lame music now. Quote

I genuinely reckon this is plausible haha, can you imagine being his kids "Yeah my dad was this super cool punk star, he was on TV and toured all over the world. Now he's trying to sell shares in space ships. I want to live with mom!" 2 3 Quote

"Oh my god, son, that's a great idea for a t-shirt. Maybe I can make a documentary on me directing my motion picture and call it The Tombot as a tie-in for the next Poet Anderson film." 2 Quote
Cheerios4u98 Posted July 4, 2019 Posted July 4, 2019 I wonder if their kids are fans. I feel like most kids are usually uninterested in what their parents do for a living. It's probably not cool or special to them that their parents are rock stars because that's just normal life to them. Quote

I just wonder because I feel like I personally would have probably been turned off to music my parents wrote when I was a kid because that's what old people listen to! Though blink does write for a younger audience. Quote
Jan Mortensen Posted July 11, 2019 Posted July 11, 2019 I'll be honest, I do enjoy playing this song (teaser? Intro?) whatever it is quite often. It's really pointless and doesn't sound like blink but it's a cool song. Matt's part surprisingly I always sing along to. Happy days and BIOMY are instant skips now. Really really wish Matt and Mark would have just started a 'darker' side project and messed around with stuff like this. Quote
