HELLA MEGA tour

really excited for this, as i love green day, weezer, and FOB equally. know a lot of folks on this board aren't big FOB fans, but still. all three groups put out new songs today, and i'm not quite feeling any of them. anybody plan to see them on this tour?

I'm really into all 3 bands too. Exciting stuff! Didn't expect all 3 to put out new music and announce new albums today but I love it. I think I'm 2/3 on the new songs, with Green Day at the bottom. Hopefully I can catch them next August in DC or Philly.

can't do the big arena thing personally. but i saw weezer on the ETWBAITE club tour (san francisco date, slim's) and even sang in the finale choir!

I got so excited when the announcement officially dropped that I dropped my kid (six month old - she'll live). Wife took her to the ER while I took a time machine back to 1994 with the blue album, baby! So pumped!

I'm pretty into it honestly. I know a whole fuckton of each of these artist's music but attributed that more to being angsty and haven't really considered going out of my way to go see them. All 3 in one night makes that pretty easy.

FOB won't beat when I saw 50 Cent and the G-Unit open for them in high school tho.

Anyone knows how much will it cost for seeing them live? The most I've spent for a ticket was $70, so if it's pricey for The Pit, I'll be looking for something farther. Could spend almost the same for their show. 

 

P.S. Never been to big arenas in the U.S. only one at Peru but that was pretty cheap. And I got to see Sum 41, Simple Plan, Papa Roach, The Cranberries, etc.

All 3 songs are equally terrible, Weezer's video was good though.

I took a look at the price range for the Petco Park date. It's close to $400 for the Pit. ?

it's HELLA MEGA money to see them, i'll say that. i'll get some decent seats not far from the ball field... but the pit might be out of my range haha

I generally don't like these huge combined groups tours. Tickets are outrageous and you end up sitting a million miles away. Maybe it because I've done front row for all of these bands individually at some point in time and so I am spoiled.
