Anyone here into them? I’ve never really dove into their music...I had a habit of writing off bands that came after blink that I assumed were just trendy and lame. I’m starting to dig into their catalogue recently and they seem like a pretty solid band. Their new song is super catchy and better than anything on Nine!

I really like FYS's original three albums, that is It's Our Time, Rise Or Die Trying and Enemy Of The World. Their alt-metal inspired hardcore leads and their bright, rowdy nature in their music is awesome to listen to. Plus they sound like not a band that goes for a style like the trendy ones, but rather more like they grew up listening to punk and they love the happy, lemonade on a hot day vibe the classics have (the bassist was openly inspired by Longview on the Green Day CD he stole from his brother) or the PARTY vibe. What are your favorite tracks? I think my favorites are Prepare To Be Digitally Manipulated, Put You On, Your Song, and What The Hell Is A Gigawatt.

Well, they sounded exactly the same as the plethora of bands that were around at that time doing that sort of punk-pop-bro-core thing. It was cool, but overused in a very short period of time. And then, all of a sudden punk pop was like reduced and related to breakdowns and raspy-screamy voices. Like if it alwas was like that.
