Mercenaries came up on shuffle while I was in the car with my sister and she was like "is this AVA?" And I was like "Yeaah" and she said "huh" in a surprised way and I was like "what?" and she was just like "I actually like it. Wow. That's weird" she's heard a lot of blinks projects through me over the years, outside of old blink that's never happened, really surprised me haha

Well it's a good song. It's my now-wife's favorite Ava release and she enjoys Ava but doesn't love the rest of the catalogue. I find it interesting how people cherry-pick the Ava they like or don't like. It's very diverse but still wildly inconsistent.

this ^ totally! I actually didn't like Mercenaries (don't hate!  ). And I have noticed that, for the majority of AVA songs, I either love them or hate them. There are very few in between.
