Here’s an example so you get the difference; R.E.M has never been that big here, if you went out on the streets and asked people about Michael Stipe no one would know who it is. Whilst Fogerty is viewed as a living legend, I saw him live only last summer with around 35-40.000 in the crowd. Barely no one know of Pet sounds either lol, if you talk with people about Beach Boys, 9 out of ten would only know of the surf hits. I’m guessing it’s somewhat the same-ish for you as well @thongrider? But if you could only chose one R.E.M album, which should I give a go? CCR are super huge here. They've almost become a joke. REM are actually quite big here. Beach Boys, not so much. Funny thing, I went to the Pet Sounds store in Stockholm and asked if they had a Brian Wilson album and they asked "who is that?" that was disappointing. 1 1 Quote

There's something fresh in every song and the production is outstanding. It's doesn't have the same anthemic feel of Sleepwalkers or Painkillers but I do appreciate the change in direction. And it flows so well - no track feels misplaced. I think Vincent is one of his best as far as songwriting goes. 3 Quote

There should definitely be a Gaslight album in there somewhere. 21 Days just hit me pure in the heart when I first heard it, it's the vocal change in the second chorus and the music build up and the little hints of 'With or Without You'. 1 Quote

I love Stiff Little Fingers, but there's a skip track on all the three first albums. All the tracks are great on the fourth one, but it's a weaker album overall. Quote

There isn't a single song on any of these that I skip." so you can list ten albums that fit that criteria, or consider the exercise not worth performing. simple. 1 Quote

It would literally just be my favorite albums. It’s the barometer I use to calculate such a thing. Jeez! Quote
