Phoebe Bridgers

Guessing other people here are listeners, but I just recently discovered.

What is it about this chick? She is oddly captivating. Insanely great lyrics, love her voice, personality...but i feel like I'm way out of her target demo here so I'm not sure what's going on. Punisher is a great album. Also enjoy Better Oblivion Community Center with Conor Oberst.

Am I becoming a Phoebe Bridgers fanboy? What's going on? Why is she so cool?

Phoebe is great. Out of the influx of white indie girls flooding the music scene in the past few years, she's by far and away my fave (and the most talented imo). 

i'd say you're within her target demographic to some respect, she's made jokes about being the depressed Taylor Swift before, haha.

haha, depressed Taylor Swift, I can see that. There are definitely songs that remind me of Folklore, so I'm sure that's what led me here

For my favorite it would be between Garden Song, Kyoto, and Graceland Too.

She has so many clever lyrics, it's part of the fun listening to her.

Graceland Too is a great one, i love the vocal harmonizing in the outro. you should check out boygenius, if you haven't already (Phoebe Bridgers' indie girl supergroup with Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus, the girls who sing the outro with her on Graceland Too).

I got that feeling too ... then it asked me if I had a crush on someone and if I planned on getting married. I wasn't sure how to answer those ... I said 'no' for the former and 'yes' for the latter. Boom, no sex for me.
