Rancid was one of my favourite bands back in the day when I was also all into street punk. I loved them & still have an affection, even if I don't listen to them much anymore. But I finally got to see them live in 2017 and they were amazing. I’ve seen Rancid three times and two of them are among my favorite shows ever. Pure non-stop energy

Pure non-stop energy I didn't know what to expect, I thought that 2017 was probably too late to finally see Rancid because you know, Tim getting old or his voice getting weaker, but he was actually great and the show was unreal and so full of energy! Cheerios4u98
Rancid was opening for blink at my 2011 Honda Civic show. I was excited to see them, but on the way to the show my friends and I got stuck in extremely bad traffic, and we ended up missing Rancid. I was bummed. I never listened to any of the early Paramore albums but I did like that Hard Times song so I gave After Laughter a spin ... it was a big old bore. She's lovely though. Bucko
Old Friend is one of my favourite songs. Out come the wolves is a banger.
Cheerios4u98
Misery Business is an absolute pop punk classic of a song. Great stuff right there.

She's lovely though. I really liked the Riot album when I was younger, haven't listened to it for a while, but there's some really great stuff on it. Misery Business as Cheerios pointed out, that's what you get is another banger. I really like Still Into You as well, but that's a bit newer, they're a solid "band" imo. Seen them live a couple of times as well, first time with the original line up and second time with the new one before the drummer came back when they just released still into you, both were great shows

Cheerios4u98
I don't follow Paramore closely enough to know what songs are and aren't popular (other than the obvious singles) but I've always liked this one and I never see people talk about it
Radioactive Ghent
The Paramore songs I like tend to be the pop singles. Hard Times, good tune. But not even rock, let alone pop punk.
Nosferatu
Paramore have one good song IMO, which is Misery Business. Rancid have loads of great songs and they're by far the better band. And Out Come the Wolves might be in my top 5 favourite ever albums.
Champ182
This is a tough one because I loved Rancid growing up, and didn't ever listen to Paramore when they were a pop punk band, but I really love Paramore's newer new-wave-pop sound and have listened to After Laughter way more than any Rancid over the past decade or so. I think I still gotta give my vote to Rancid though because it's a pop punk poll, and they are way better as a pop punk band than Paramore was. Radioactive Ghent
Rancid, top five punk band all time? They're number 1 for me, but gotta be objective here
Low Value Boy
Not much in it for me, went from Paramore as just find Rancid a bit cringe.
