Patient #48273
You can vote for the band you like more or based on who is better specifically as a pop punk band. Voter’s choice. No minimum post count required; anyone can vote, but one person = one vote (i.e., no sock accounts). Because of the obvious sock account that voted in the last round, all accounts must have been created before the start of the competition (March 3, 2021). Voting closes at 3:30pm Eastern Time on Friday, April 2nd.

Kay
MCS. NFG are more traditionally pop punk but honestly they're one of the worst bands in the whole comp, shouldn't have gotten this far. Neither should have MCS for that matter. 3

_Bagel
That time Rudy Giuliani fronted Black Flag in 87’ - that was the pop punk precipice
Ghent
The boards came through! Two worthy challengers here, not poser old man bands. Not sure how I will vote on this...Probably should ignore anything either band has done since 2010. Both had a huge influence on me growing up, but I'm thinking I probably leaned harder into NFG? Will have to revisit them this week and see how I feel. 1

Mark Hoppus featured on their albums and therefor Blink fans pretend to like them.

thongrider
Like Paws? That band was pretty decent.

Champ182
I voted for MCS because I love them but they definitely fall much lower on the Pop-Punk-o-Meter than NFG
Jan Backing Track
Are we really about to vote in Motion City Soundtrack as the 3rd best ever pop punk band? lmao. 2
