Speedo
I’m hyped on my new bass and I’d rather not let the good vibes go to waste so I’m stealing a page from Beato. What are your top 3 songs with great bass lines? My picks:
Kay
The Chain - Fleetwood Mac i love the bass in Jaws Theme Swimming from Brand New and most slap based ones are super fun to play, simple but fun one is Fly Away lenny kravitz
Scott.
Yes Kay, The Chain. Iconic, the whole song is amazing but the last 90 seconds are ridiculously good.
Scott.
Great song, one of the best British tunes ever. Impossible to not wanna get up and dance, probably the most underrated band I can think of, they never get as much love as other bands around that time but The Jam were outstanding 1

Jan Backing Track
I will say bass never really draws me in much, but Mark's bass to this day has always been my favorite bass parts and that is no lie, and my taste has changed drastically from the blink days. Anthem pt 2 will forever be my favorite bass intro/part. Not sure why, but it's the only band where the bass really just sticks out and is something I look forward to. Feeling this, Shut Up, Man Overboard, Not Now, Asthenia - so good The Smiths, Nirvana probably the next most memorable for me. Yes, Chain Fleetwood Mac and that one Tool song Schism. Worst poster here
If you want fun and easy songs to learn on bass, I’d recommend: -Fascination Street - the Cure -Bro Hymn - Pennywise -Money - Pink Floyd -Kids - MGMT(gets boring but fun to play with the track) -London Calling - The Clash -Seven Nation Army - White Stripes -Schism - Tool -Carousel - Blink (duh) -Old White Lincoln - Gaslight Anthem (boring though) Try Tom Sawyer - Rush or most of RHCP if you want something a bit harder. Monkey Chips
Not counting blink (just to keep things from just being blink) this is one of my favs This is also a fun bass tune I can't think of a third one so I'll come back and edit this if I find one (or I might just have to settle on a blink bass line).
