Jan Mortensen Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 Man, this one is hard. Both are pretty equal songs. Senses Fail aged well though while Brand New got a bit sour with their scandal. In my top 3 Brand New songs though..
scoobs Posted April 5, 2022 Posted April 5, 2022 Not my favorite Brand New song (Your Favorite Weapon is my fav album of theirs), so this is hard cuz I think Brand New is far and away the better band. Between these two particular songs? It’s Senses Fail.
Cheerios4u98 Posted April 6, 2022 Posted April 6, 2022 I always liked Senses Fail as a teenager but for some reason I've become an even bigger fan of them in the last few years. This song isn't specifically one of my favorites of theirs but I still really like it. Brand New song is good too but Senses Fail gets my vote this time. I always think of Soco Amaretto Lime as the top emo Brand New song, mostly because of my bias towards Your Favorite Weapon, but also because it was the closing song at the Emo Night I went to a few years back and everyone in the club was singing along at the top of their lungs and it was like the most emo thing I've ever experienced lol
