Man, the Riotfest show playing Enema with Matt was so bad. We only went so we could hear the deep cuts from Enema that we’d never hear otherwise. But part of me still thinks I committed a sin not going to Jawbreaker instead.

 I’d even say that the Cali tour was more fun because Matt helped write some of those songs but with Enema he was just standing there trying not to fuck up.

Dude, I’ve regretted it every day since. Also there was a fight in the blink crowd I had to break up and my wife (girlfriend at the time) had beer poured all over her. Just a shit-show all around. I was literally content on that being my last blink show ever as it kinda ruined it for me.

But blink at Riotfest with Tom in 2014 was a lot of fun!!!

this sounds dreadful. the energy at all the matt shows were just lacking, save for the first year (the ADTR tour, which was pretty fun). after that it all felt kinda phoned in

yeah it looks great! italia posted that they should popping up in major US cities as well soon, all but confirming he’s got the inside scoop as we imagined. 

an eagle-eyed reddit user noted that the new font has pieces from each preceding logo.

This is what I’ve been saying. Why are people getting excited for a guy whom:

1) clearly doesn’t give a fuck about you or any of the fans. If he did, he would at least try to sound decent live for us but instead he…

2) makes a mockery of their songs live, and intentionally sounds like shit singing in many songs. When he’s not mocking the songs, he still absolutely sounds like shit the way he sings anyways. Absolutely horrid live, and yes he’s worse than Skiba live. Compare a song like Dysentery Gary live with Tom vs Skiba, and it’s not even close, Tom can’t pull that shit off without skipping singing the chorus, and he still sounds worse on the guitar 

3) clearly this would be a temporary cash grab. Tom has stated in many interviews how blink songs are childish, and how it would be lame for him to perform them. We already know Tom just wants your money…see To the Stars investment for a great example. It would be 100% certain it’s just a matter of time before he’s out again…because TOM DOES NOT CARE ABOUT BLINK OTHER THAN FOR THE MONEY IT CAN GENERATE HIM 
 

4) the magic of the Tom/Mark dynamic in blink is long fucking gone. The jokes are forced, and it’s all business. It’s not a real relationship anymore, it’s forced just like a divorced couple trying to stay civil for the kids

5) It’s gonna be the same stupid set list we’ve had for years 

6) Tom can’t even write good music anymore. Hell he didn’t even really write the last AVA record, and he certainly didn’t perform any of the guitar work. That was all  Ilan. You really want a new blink record where you can’t even trust that Tom performed guitars on?

7) it actually is kinda lame to watch these old men perform songs like first date

8 ) blink-182 has been dead, and will remain dead…despite who is in the lineup. It’s just a legacy act. If you didn’t see them before 2004, I’m sorry you missed out , but this is not anything close to the magic they once had

Within 10-14 days a new song snippet sample is gonna leak , song doesn’t have that typical blink vibe or sound , but toms voice is the clear main track vocal line with hippos doing the backing 

 

after the snippet releases a few days later the song drops with lyric videos on blink182 YouTube channel

 

The band will then speak to publicist's and radio
