Reading too far into it, I think the album will be darker/heavier because of the late October release (days get shorter with daylights savings time, Halloween, etc). The last time I remember a fall release was Self-Titled although Nine might also have been one.

Maybe I'm cynical but that was always the vibe I held going into this.  And not in a bad way, I just didn't expect them to get back and make this album at all (tour yes, album not really) and didn't expect them to be continuing on much after a giant world tour and album either.  I still don't really, it just seems like that one finale to me.  I'm here for it.  

I think Hard At Work is good but is just obviously riffing on Enema/Toypaj again.

 

I guess Hard At Work was appealing to the Boomers with the name, and One More Time.. is more appealing to the Millennials.

Therefore, they just basically said they prefer the millennials. Sorry.

Also, the initial hype posters for the reunion had a working theme, (“182 Industries”), and their website before the announcement had under construction tape and said, “Hard at work! Check back soon”.

Yeah, I was about to say/link (though at this point I was out of the loop and found out about the reunion on twitter the day it happened so I missed out on this tidbit at the time)

Even before and during the whole reunion they were pushing that:

Though I guess at this point things can change... For example I do think the album was supposed to come out Spring/Summer, but got delayed for some reasons we were not made aware of.
